I was driving down a back country road yesterday just enjoying some peace and quiet. You normally see the embankments eroding along roads like this one. You'll see trees with roots exposed and half the tree only supported by the roots, almost like they are floating. Sometimes you find washouts that look like a small waterfall down the low areas. Yesterday I found what appeared to be a cave dug back into the bank. I took a few pics from the car since there was no one else anywhere around. I did not go poking around with a flashlight to see how deep or large that cave is. If a squirrel, armadillo, or hobbit ran out we would both have died lol. Someone gave me the idea yesterday that I need to get some glow in the dark eyes and place them inside the cave. I only wish I could set up a video camera to catch the responses if I do it.

::giggles:: Butterflies and moths don’t bother me, unless it is a moth the size of an actual bird, which we have here. Nope. My thing is wasps, and other flying bugs that bite or sting. I will straight up use another person as a human shield to get away from them. I scream and flail. 😆 My husband thinks it is hilarious, but hey… I’ve lived on this planet for 39 years without ever being stung. The flailing is clearly working! 🤣

OH HELL NO I am TERRIFIED of butterflies and moths 🤢 If I saw this thing fluttering around me I would piss my pants ! So freaky looking …. It’s really interesting to look at but I shamefully would smack that thing out of the air if I even had the balls to touch it 🫣

That's a great capture. The humming bird moth is so cool. I've never seen one before. Hibiscus are beautiful flowers. I didn't realize how big the flowers actually were until I saw some at a friend's house.

haha, she's great and does a pretty good job letting you know what the unsafe look a-likes are and how to tell the difference. There's another mushroom very high in protein called beefsteak or oxtongue. That one kinda freaks me out a bit because it looks like actual raw steak that bleeds. That one I'm scared to try because I don't care for beef let alone rare steak. 😬

Yeah I would be scared to try it without knowing 100% that it's safe. Another fungi that's edible is called a puffball mushroom and can grow huge. I see all these fungi posts now because apparently posting something on Facebook means FB stalks you and thinks you want to learn all things fungi. Which is also why I'm now also seeing everything about baby wombats. Lol Just saw this posted the other day.
