Sticker Reward Chart

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I need some ideas. My little and I recently decided that as a part of our life we were going to create a sticker reward chart, so that way when she does things well then after a while she'll get a reward. However I'm having trouble thinking of what things I should reward her for. Does anyone have any ideas?

It can be anything..most littles love being rewarded for simple things that you would think are basic every day activities for taking care of yourself like brushing your teeth or making sure your little asks for help when she needs it. That's always the hardest for me as a little, things I know I can do as an adult but when in little mode I need help..just silly things like asking daddy to get me a cup instead of climbing on the counter or asking him to help put the right amount of toothpaste on my toothbrush..these things not only help her feel more little but you'll be proud as a caregiver to see how much your little needs and wants your help

Tieing your shoes

Picking your clothes

Drinking water

Behaving when at the store

Not cursing for that day

Taking a bath

Cleaning her room

Like zombie said its just things we found difficult as a little one.

In my opinion, punishments and rewards should be based upon mutual goals that both parties agree are things your Little struggles with and wants to improve upon.

I get lazy in the mornings and often forget to brush my teeth, so I just mouthwash. When I brush my teeth after a meal, I get points towards a reward. I also forget to drink enough water daily. Sometimes I need an extra nudge to go to the gym. Or do a load of laundry. Stuff like that.

I second the above post. Though it is up to you and your little to decide on, consider daily tasks that have a positive influence. I personally have worked out a simple core of tasks for my own little which deal with diet, exercise, and making sure she's taking time daily to decompress and relax. These are all positive things dealing mostly with ensuring her physical and emotional health.

Your little might have certain needs, or special goals to work towards, so talk openly about those things first and draw up a plan together to encourage those things. Then, from there you can add on extra things as time goes on. I reccomend you start small, to keep track of the tasks at first.

Best of luck to you :)
