DIY Gifts

[Strawberry Sprinkles]

Everyone loves gifts! I find, however, homemade goodies can have a special touch. 

 

Once upon a time, I had a friend of mine that would always bake her friends cupcakes with unique decorations stylized for that individual. Every Valentine's, I would look forward to that cupcake. Not so much for the chocolaty goodness (and boy were they good), but the warm feeling that she took the time out to make something just for me.

 

What was your favorite DIY-style gift?

Ooh I love diy! But I'm not very good at it.. yet! I will conquer it someday. 

 

For my little friends I have made them costumed made stuffies that has been liked! ^.^

Recently I've been making beaded bracelets with special little nick-names or phrases/inside jokes on them with alphabet beads ^-^ my friends really like them, and even a few strangers have asked where they got their bracelets and I made some money making some for others! :3

DiY ... LoL ... I'm a Little in DIY project... meaning that it looks like a 6 y.old creation! ....

 

However : The other day, I bought a wooden box for a friend and instead of Decoring it myself, I invited her and we had fun decoring it together , for her.  I bought glitter and gems to put on it... had different options to decor it...  We had a great time and it makes a great meaningfull gift.  I guess you can do that for many DIY project... making it together is something that can be good.
