I'm from England, I lived in London for about 8 years, but I'm now in Prague (Czech Republic) until the end of the year!

From Hampshire My favourite thing about the UK is some of the beauty. Lake district, new forest being 2 of the most beautiful places.
The weather can be awful but some ppl get it a lot worse

It is lovely and most people are really friendly. Used to hang out at The Green in those days, if you know it? I hope you're settling in well :)

i am a switch more on the little side. i am from Nottingham and would love to meet new friends like me. i am really new to this lifestyle and very nervous but getting there. my favourite thing about England would be the country side and the little cafes around where i live, i also love the livelyness of the place. anyone who would like to be friends don't be afraid to add me as a friend or message me.

I don’t live in the UK, but my grandparents emigrated to America from there and I grew up eating a lot of English/Scottish food. Does anyone have a good recipe for Yorkshire Pudding? I used to have it every Sunday, but I haven’t had any since my grandmother passed. I’ve tried to make it in the past and I get the heating of the oil first, I can get it to rise, but it just doesn’t taste right and the recipes here suck. Anyone have any help, advice or the perfect recipe? Sorry this is off topic

I have a fairly decent recipe that my mum always used. I find its the oven that affects how much they rise. But ive used this for yrs and I like it best.

I can pm you the recipe if you want?

Oh, how gorgeous was the weather yesterday? Couldn't believe that sunshine! Was that a regional thing, or was it similar for most of us?

Ha no shame in aunt bessies!

It was beautiful here in the Midlands yesterday but woke up to heavy frost and utterly freezing all day!

Was not at all prepared for it. I do hope it snows this winter though I love pretty snow.

If we're yorkshire pudding shaming, I've never made one ever. That's not a proud boast...
