    1920's

    Greed

The Passion of Joan of Arc

    Metropolis

Pandora's Box (Die Büchse der Pandora)

(had to verify years but have seen three of these)

    1930's

    The Wizard of Oz

City Lights (Had to be Chaplin. Didn't know which of his films came out that year.)

Gone With the Wind (because of the word "epic")

King Kong (Although The Invisible Man, Little Women, and Alice in Wonderland also qualify)

(Have seen all of these with the exception of City Lights.)

    1940's

    Casablanca (One of my favorites.)

    It's a Wonderful Life

    Double Indemnity

The Maltese Falcon (Possibly my favorite film noir.)

(This is a great selection of films that any film fan should see.)

    1950's

    Vertigo (Hitchcock.)

Singin' in the Rain (Best Hollywood musical of all time?)

    Ben-Hur (I haven't seen the remake.)

Strangers on a Train (Hitchcock again.)

    1960's

    Lawrence of Arabia

    West Side Story

    Oliver

    The Sword in the Stone

Nice selection of films. I realize that I have watched a huge amount of films as I have seen all but two of them. Thanks for the quiz.
