Welcome and best wishes. Feel free to let me know if I can be of any help!

Can you explain the reputation button to me? I’ve looked in various topics but haven’t found anything. I assume that you start at 0 (neutral) and then somehow you are voted as either positive (green button/accruing “points”) or negative (warnings/red) based on your posting history and any reported forum activity. Wondering because I’ve noticed it on others profiles and mine now has a green 1 but still says neutral under that. Not knowing what it means or how it works gives me some anxiety

Guest Monsieur

Hello there,

Love your profile. What kind of photography do you do? This really got me: "more Mononoke than Disney". Click.

I'm new in this forum, feel free to message me so we can chat and perhaps get to know each other.

Hi impish little kitten!
Since I'm NOT a moderator or connected with the site's administration in any way, my guess is that the GREEN BUTTON that you're talking about possibly has something to do, but possibly not limited to, following:

- Number of posts you have made

- Length of time you're on the site

- Lack of warning points

- Consistency of your visits to this site

- Other

I'm hoping one of the Moderators, Admins or someone who has better knowledge would be able to enlighten us with the exact criteria for achieving a higher score.
Hope your start of the day is going well.

Thanks MP! I figure it's something like that too- I've read all the rules, I just want to make sure I don't accidentally do something wrong!

Hi Monsieur! I sent you a friend request! I'd definitely like to chat- I don't necessarily consider myself "an artist" (mostly out of embarrassment and imposter syndrome), but I love all the art things!

I think reputation pts is linked to how many times people "like" your posts. Each like gets you a point! The more likes, the more reputation pts, the more it moves away from "neutral."
