shadowrider
We will have to give this idea some thought. We discussed something like this a while back and it was thought that it would do more to segregate the community than bring us all together. If there are enough people interested we will consider forming a club.

I agree with you to not segregate the community but as per mu experience Indian community here is struggling a lot because of the cultural and social dilemma. And also not much people aware of even this lifestyle exits. So I thought to create one sub community. This is only for the problem solving

MasterPhotog
While it is inspiring and educational to get to know and interact with individuals from diverse cultures, I believe that small communities centered around ethnic backgrounds can often divide people. Just my two cents.
daddy007
This thread to discuss about particular problems only. Everyone from all over the world is welcome but we discuss about the particularly difficulties faced by Indian community
GayKitten
Not Indian myself, but I actually think this idea makes a lot of sense — and rather than use a lens of “segregation” I think it is more useful to view this as “increasing visibility”. Frankly, just from being a daily regular on here, it does seem that many Indian people specifically come here to find other Indian people, often to unpack the specific pressures and difficulties of navigating kink in their culture — but many users seem short-lived, and I’d guess it’s due to frustration and not being able to find others to discuss their specific issues. And I think it is fair to say that, for a culture that DOES seem to have specific pressures against open involvement in kink, it DOES make sense to seek out others who are culturally-competent with your own background in order to discuss those issues candidly and safely. I think having a dedicated club or space for Indian users would help them connect and find others who are culturally compatible for discussing culture-specific issues. Maybe keeping it non-private would alleviate the concerns about “segregating” members, and give others a chance to learn about the struggles of another culture? But again, I think the upshot of this proposal is actually around helping to connect MORE people who are already alienated from the kink world.

balkar
It's really hard to find someone in India who is into ddlg too or understands what ddlg is. Even if we try to explain it to others, they think that it's type of taboo or sexual stuff but it's actually a lifestyle and it's really beautiful to be a responsible daddy or a little. I really hope that soon everyone will understand about this lifestyle too.
MasterPhotog
As the world has now become more relaxed, open, and friendly, certain cultures sadly continue to remain rigid and traditional. Although I initially believed in the importance of fostering diversity among individuals, I now recognize the necessity for small communities centered around specific ethnic backgrounds, such as an Indian Club.
