How can I find out if someone is into DDLG?

I guess this is a really broad question- but basically I'm new to the DDLG lifestyle and have not really lived it per say- only personally in my own time. I'm very interested in pet play. How do I find people in a non-sexual-datey context who share my kinks? Or if you could give me just general advice with engaging with the lifestyle. I live in Los Angeles

Other social platforms I use related to ddlg are fetlife and Tumblr. Just do research look into what aspects you like whether it's sexually, or whatever you're into. I've met a lot of great people here and on fetlife that are in the ddlg community. Most people are very open to talk to friends ect. Take things slow learn what you like and what you don't like. Well there a lots of local events. Munchies, coffees, meet ups. They are usually at coffee shops or dinners so they are public and safe. There is no sexual play, from talking with friends who have been they are usually very warm and inviting. You can find them on here or on Fetlife. Outside of that I would read and do research. There is nothing wrong with reading though forums or post on Tumblr to learn more about the lifestyle.
