LilPrincess977 Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Hi! So, I don't know if this is the place to post this. But, for the last week, I keep dreaming about feeling really happy and confident about DDlg; then it leads to me telling my two best friends about it. This leading to them being really receptive of it, and being happy for me. But then, it cuts to me looking down and seeing huge bruises all over me? I don't know how to feel about it or what it could possibly mean. Again, I don't know if this belongs here. But any insight would be amazing. I hope everyone has a beautiful day/night! maripositaaa Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Hey girl! I'm no expert but I have strange dreams aaaall the time. I've learned that writing them down somewhere, forgetting about it for a couple of days, and then coming back to it will give me a bit more clarity in what it may mean. Often times I do find deeper meanings, but it's usually something only I can interpret for myself. Other times, I find no meaning whatsoever and just call it a silly dream. The meaning doesn't always seem as fluid or connected as the dream does, so try taking it apart or picking out the things that really stand out from everything else and find meaning in those things separately first, and then together. Hope this helps! <3 mariposita 1
LilPrincess977 Posted November 3, 2017 Author Report Posted November 3, 2017 Thanks a bunch, maripositaaa! I really appreciate the feedback, I will definitely do that and hopefully feel a bit better about it^.^ 1
Guest SUeB Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 You want to tell people but are scared of a negative reaction. There is no reason to tell anyone outside of the community, or a potential/current partner.
DreamingDesire Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Just a word of caution: Humans are absolute masters in finding/recognizing patterns, which is what created the world around us that we see today, but it also lead to stuff like alchemy and other dismissed beliefs from the past. Similarly, in 1000 years, we'll look back on this era as a relative dark age too. It's how we work. Dreams have a random element, even recurring ones, so it could mean absolutely nothing. That said, dreams do often have a foundation in thoughts or feelings we have in real life. This one seems to revolve around hope/expectation and worries. The hope that people are as happy/excited for you as you are about it, which is great. Then maybe, the worry (or hope?) that you end up bruised by this lifestyle. You could explore this more, but I'd say the most important goal is that you know what you want for yourself, that you know what makes you really satisfied. When you know what to pursue, the rest falls into place naturally. We may get hurt along the way too, but it will be worth it in the end.
Guest Ignea Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Being yourself is a must. Showing yourself is awesome but super difficult you are unique, always no matter what others say or think. And its a big step leaving the comfortzone and trust a friend or loved one. true sometimes reactions hurt somtimes the are a pleasant suprise. If i was in your case , wich im not and its just a idea/advise. but think it over The person/s u want to "expose" yourself to, maybe try to see a movie with them or discus a book about the subject or a website. That way you can sniff opinions and take it further, a discussion or debate. about it.. Or go all out , He gyus, i have a question. you ever heard of DDlg and whats ur opinion about it? .. see what they say , and then u might break the "news" to them , gentle. I do hope u get the chanche to tell who you want to tell and that they behave with all the love and respect. But i dont think the answer can be found in explaining a dream, The expression is: like a dream comes true. hence like
cuppycakes Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 You want to tell people but are scared of a negative reaction. There is no reason to tell anyone outside of the community, or a potential/current partner. I mean isn’t that just your opinion though? Lots of people tell friends or family. Nothing is wrong with it. Even if you just consider it a kink, I’ve told some of my friends about some of the weird stuff I’m into and they’ve told me in return. I’ve never told anyone about me being little, but I’ve considered telling a few of them. Nothings wrong if I did tell them.
