LittleDeerest Posted July 26, 2019 Report Posted July 26, 2019 My little space age is normally from 3-7 but no matter what, I really like to color in the lines the best I can. Is that... un-little of me? I’d like your opinions 1
LittleTeacup Posted July 26, 2019 Report Posted July 26, 2019 No, you can color within the lines as much as you want! How you color doesn't define if you're little or not. Most children color a bit messily because they're still working on their fine motor skills, not because it's an aesthetic choice. 5
MellyBoo19912015 Posted July 26, 2019 Report Posted July 26, 2019 Everyone colours how they want. Big and little I very much colour in the line. I have 3 different types of erasers just in case. 1
Dolliekisses Posted July 26, 2019 Report Posted July 26, 2019 No, you can color within the lines as much as you want! How you color doesn't define if you're little or not. Most children color a bit messily because they're still working on their fine motor skills, not because it's an aesthetic choice. This. It’s why smaller children have an easier time with the fatter crayons and markers, their fine motor skills aren’t as developed as an older child or an adult so they need the bigger tools to hold onto to help them. And even though mentally, we feel childlike we are not actually children so we will have most of our skills we’ve developed through life despite being in our little states. If you think you need to “let loose” a bit more to really get in touch with your inner little then just go to town scribbling and see if that helps. Don’t think about the picture outlined for you, think about the fantastic colors you have sitting in front of you ready to be splashed across the page. 2
Quirkygrl16 Posted July 27, 2019 Report Posted July 27, 2019 Not at all! I always color perfectly as much as I can..that will never change 1
Sugar Bunny Posted July 29, 2019 Report Posted July 29, 2019 Being little as an adult gives the chance to do everything 'better' than we did when we were actually that age . . . couldn't get it perfect then but can now.
NymphKitten Posted August 13, 2019 Report Posted August 13, 2019 I tend to draw my own lines. It's your book to color-in, make it as pretty as you want. 1
GalaxyPrincess227 Posted August 15, 2019 Report Posted August 15, 2019 I am the exact same way. I'm 3 in little space, but I always color in the lines. I'll even trace just inside the lines with a darker color to make the picture pop. I can't help it. And I'm totally good with it. It definitely doesn't lessen our littleness.
BabyMattDiapers Posted September 3, 2019 Report Posted September 3, 2019 Thanks for sharing how you feel about this. I do not think it matters one way or another how you colour is how you colour, whether in little space or in adult space, and does not change who you are or how you should feel about who you are. For me, I cannot colour inside the lines very well whether in little space or in adult space as colouring and other similar artistic talents are not a strength for me, so I generally don't colour when in little space. Attached to that is that I was mostly yelled at or made fun of for colouring outside the lines when I was younger, so I have made the choice not to colour until I am with a caregiver that will love me no matter what way I colour. You are you and you will colour how you colour and no one has the right to say you are not little for colouring however you do.
Guest LittleBunBun84 Posted September 3, 2019 Report Posted September 3, 2019 I do both depending on how I feel. Sometimes I like to colour or draw with my opposite hand (left hand) which makes it more difficult and makes me feel very little.
Purinsesu Posted September 3, 2019 Report Posted September 3, 2019 I love colouring and I'm very good at it. I'll always colour in the lines but for me personally it depends a lot on the headspace I'm in. If I'm feeling very little I could colour more messy! When I feel little I love colouring with crayons as I find these a bit more difficult to fill small parts in with and I tend to mess up there which makes me feel more little for sure!
