So I'm new to this site I found it yesterday and I signed up and everything.

I honestly never known about dd/lg until a few weeks ago, through tumblr and reading fan fiction. The concept seemed strange at first and instead of dubbing it as disgusting or weird due to ignorance, I wanted to research it and try to understand it.

After scoping the web, watching videos, and reading... I think I get it. I think I get it so much so that it just made sense. It clicks and I could see the appeal. In fact, I'm interested in learning more and possibly exploring it.

I've never done anything of the sort in the BDSM community, I did meet someone who would have been my dom (this was before I found out about dd/lg) but after meeting him I didn't really feel a connection and I kind of dropped the whole prospect... though the thought was still in the back of my mind.

I'm interested more in the lg aspect because I feel fits me a little. I work at a store in the toy department, and I'm always pressing buttons and looking at the dolls, I like watching cartoons sometimes, coloring is great. I'm not sure if that means anything but the whole idea seems pleasing and I like it.

So even if I don't get to be involved in the community I just want to say that I support this. And also introduce myself, hi everyone!

Well it's nice to see an ally, even if you may not fully embrace the identity itself. Welcome to the community!

It's nice to see that you did research before dismissing it. Some people can't dismiss their knee jerk reactions, which is entirely normal and acceptable. We wouldn't judge you if you had come to the exact opposite conclusion about our community! But alas, here you are!

You did bring up a point that I wanted to ask you about: Do you somewhat associate yourself with being a little because of the "childish" activities like cartoons, toys, and coloring? Or do you associate yourself with being a little because of a "childish" mindset, one where you associate your headspace with one of a child whereas you may be a bit more immature when associating in the lifestyle?

Both really, looking back on back on it, I act like a child sometimes.

As embarrassed as I am to admit I hae thrown temper tantrums as adult because I didn't get my way. I honestly dont do that too much any more though.

Another embarrassing thing is making your mom kiss your 'booboos' though thats fairly recently for me since I accidentally sliced my thumb 2 weeks ago.

I still sleep with stuffed animals, i used to have a lot if them until I cut down to 4.

Jesus I feel like this has been a confessional.
