I had a Daddy and I recently broke up with him. I realize now he wasn't very good at being a Daddy. I think he just more wanted ageplay, which is fine if that's what you're into.

I always had to be the one to plan activities and suggest reading. He would never help me pick out my little clothes and always feel asleep during my little shows. I'm sad because I still love and care for him, but it's been so freeing since we haven't been talking. I lost myself in the relationship I thought it was. I had no free time for my other partners, much less any friends. Now I do and it's been amazing.

I do miss having someone to call a caregiver though. In time I'm sure I'll find the right person.

Sorry to hear this! I broke up with my daddy this weekend. It sucks.it hurts but we will get better! And find someone who will take very good care of us. But for now, better to be alone than in a no good relationship

    Huggies!

awww. it's so hard letting go of relationships. just know it's okay to feel sad and miss that person, even if breaking up was the right thing to do. you made a decision that's good for you and will make room for people who are more aligned with what you need/care about. be proud of yourself and gentle with yourself during a difficult time.

i have been through similar things and it's tough. if you want to chat, my inbox is open.

    Asani13 and xodoe,

Thank you for your support. It's important to remember that just because you love someone and care for them, it doesn't mean they are right for you. I am still a little sad, but I know I deserve someone who treats me better than he did.

And the longer I go without talking to him, the happier I'm finding myself to be. I'm finding myself again which is nice.
