shadowrider Posted September 8, 2022 Report Posted September 8, 2022 I am sure most of us have heard the sad news of the Queen's passing. Though I am from the U.S. I feel it is only fitting that we have a place for everyone that wants to, to say a word or leave a tribute to a woman that meant the world to a lot of people. Our hearts go out to her family and everyone that cared for her. She was a strong leader and a beautiful person that I know will be missed dearly. Feel free to say your goodbyes or leave a favorite pic or story or just some virtual flowers. Queen Elizabeth II Alpha - April 21, 1926 - Omega September 8, 2022 May you rest in eternal peace Your Majesty 4 1
MellyCat Posted September 9, 2022 Report Posted September 9, 2022 Saw this today. Author unknown. Queen Elizabeth II Phillip came to me today, and said it was time to go. I looked at him and smiled, as i whispered that "I know" I then turned and looked behind me, and seen I was asleep. All my Family were around me, and I could hear them weep. I gently touched each shoulder, with Phillip by my side. Then I turned away and walked, with My Angel guide. Phillip held my hand, as he led the way, to a world where Kings and Queens, are Monarch's every day. I was given a crown to wear or a Halo known by some. The difference is up here, they are worn by everyone. I felt a sense of peace, my reign had seen its end. 70 years I had served my Country, as the people's friend. Thank you for the years, for all your time and love. Now I am one of two again, in our Palace up above. Rest in peace and thank you 🙏 3
Pinkegobox8 Posted September 9, 2022 Report Posted September 9, 2022 Rest in peace ma'am, I'm happy you're reunited with Philip. Thank you for serving us Sleep well
DollDirector Posted September 9, 2022 Report Posted September 9, 2022 yes , very impressive . particularly the speech , think she was in s.a. at the time , when she pledges a life of service . you can almost see the majesty descending upon her . also of course , seen from here , the speech on the radio to french women (in french) at the very dark time of the war .
Guest UnicornPuff Posted September 9, 2022 Report Posted September 9, 2022 Her Majesty was alive and more influential on my life than either of my own grandmothers RIP our great Queen
SharkPrince Posted September 21, 2022 Report Posted September 21, 2022 I watched the funeral at work and I've gotta say I was nearly in tears
