Halloween is kinda nothing here.. most kids that do trick or treat go pretty much straight after school (where uniforms are still to be worn, no fun costumes allowed) and pumpkin craving, haunted houses, spooky decorations are all not really done… in fact we also don’t really do the pumpkin spiced stuff either. Halloween or Christmas decorations

Driving around looking at Christmas lights is totally one of my favorite things to do! I love the houses where everything is themed and matches but I also love the chaotic houses where nothing matches and it's everything everywhere! Super fun! We totally have a hotel here in Roanoke where they put up trees on every floor that are decorated with different themes and that's a really fun thing to do this time of year is to just walk through and go look at the trees! Angel on top of the Christmas tree or star on top of the tree?
