Okay. So, I really struggle with staying organised, especially because i get distracted by everything! I've tried planners, and scheduling apps, and i can't seem to find a system pretty enough for me to use, and practical enough for my busy schedule. Any tips? Has anyone else struggled with staying organised?

Also, i am an extremely disorganised person. It seems like, no matter how hard i try, my room won't stay clean. Do you guys have any strategies that might help with it? <3

Hmm, you can try clearing your mind in the beginning of the day and the end of the day. You can write down what you've accomplished throughout the day and what you want to accomplish tomorrow. You can also number them accordingly from most important to least important. Setting goals are what helps me stay focused and organized!

As for keeping your room clean, you can have a specific day out of the week where you set aside to clean. Storage bins, boxes, etc are your friends and helps tons!!

I have a to do sheet for tomorrow and I check things off as I get them done. On it is also places and times so it also reminds me of appointments. Since I make it ahead of time I can make it as pretty as I want to. I use google calendar since it is on my phone and my phone is always with me.

I am a terrible house keeper. Like, the absolute worst. It's not laziness either. I just never learned how to keep house growing up so as an adult, I had no idea what to do to KEEP my house clean. A couple years ago though I stumbled across this website: http://flylady.net/Seriously? Saved my sanity and my house is sooooo much cleaner. It's still pretty messy but I have 3 little kids and mess comes with kids. True story. Lol. But it's tons better than before. It's seriously the easiest thing in the world to follow and so so helpful. The cool thing is you eventually make what they call a "control journal" which is essentially just a binder you keep to help you keep track of all the things you need to do. You can buy a premade one but there's directions to make your own. That's what I did. You can make it as cute as you want! Mine's covered in stickers and stuff. The site is neat because it's all got a grandmotherly feel to it and it's not at all overwhelming if you follow the baby steps. It eventually just becomes habit. I tell everyone about it who says they have trouble organizing and keeping up with their house. Hope it helps. :)

I think putting stuff down on a calender helps, also if you put stuff down you want to do, it helps you keep track better. Its also a habit you need to get yourself into. So if you can get yourself in the habit of looking, it'll make it easier.

Have you considered asking your care giver to assist you with some closer attention to your schedule?

Thanks for replying and trying to help everyone !! I think im going to try to set goals and to do lists :)

Flylady.com looks awesome, im going to investigate more today.

I dont thing i've ever used my phones calendar :PI'll try, and see how i feel about it.

I have. He's German, and he's been trying to get me into the habit of tidying my room everyday, so i never really need to deep clean. He's also created a scheduling sheet, however, its more for him to know my classes, and where i have to go. It doesnt really help me keep track of deadlines and assignments.

I picked up a planner to help me with my organization. I need a visual representation of what my schedule looks like, so I can see specifically what I need to do. You can get a non-expensive one from WalMart, and then decorate it to customize it to your liking. :) If you want to see my planner, just send me a message and I will be more than happy to post pictures.

I like to keep track of everything on my phone.  I set reminders and I schedule things on my calendar with alerts.  I'll sometimes make "appointments" for silly things that I want to remember to do.
