LB426 Posted October 6, 2024 Report Posted October 6, 2024 Hello. Since this spring, I took the habit to fall asleep with my pacifier and a plushy. But in the morning, if I still hug tightly my plushy, I have generally lost my pacifier who is somewhere living its own life. I only woke up with my paci in my mouth if I sleep less than 2 hours. So, I'm curious: Do you also fall asleep with a paci ? If yes, do you manage to keep it until you wake up ? Is it depending of the time of sleeping ? 2
Princess snuggles Posted October 6, 2024 Report Posted October 6, 2024 I always fall asleep with my stuffies and pillow (a special pillow that I cuddle 😂) but sometime have my dum dum (pacifier) and other time sucking my thumb 👍. I’ve found most of the time my dum dum likes to hide from me or maybe has a double life hidden in my bed, could be either honestly 😂. But sometimes I do wake up with it particularly if I’m struggling to sleep or have half woken up a few times in the night. But definitely interesting to hear other experiences whether they are similar or different. 1
CodeName: Trouble Posted October 7, 2024 Report Posted October 7, 2024 For those that have wondering pacis - Paci clips are super cute and help so much! I keep my paci in all night about a third to maybe even half of the time, but having it on a clip has helped so much! It makes me feel extra little and if I wake up and it's not there, super easy to find and fix that 🤗 I toss and turn allot and honestly can't sleep more than 40 minutes at a time most nights, not sure if that helps my odds here. But really, paci clips for the win 🏆 They have adult paci clips on the market, but honestly normal ones are usually cheaper, a better length, easier to get and come in endless adorable patterns! I would highly recommend giving them a try ... just don't forget to take them off in the morning! 🤭 1 1
JenniY Posted October 7, 2024 Report Posted October 7, 2024 I wish I could but I have a CPAP machine and can’t sleep with my pacifier in with the mask on.
Aikko Posted October 8, 2024 Report Posted October 8, 2024 I rotate like a darn rotisserie chicken in my sleep. 🙈 I always fall asleep with my stuffies, but if I fall asleep with my paci in, it most certainly has run off in the night. It may be worth getting a paci clip…idk why I didn’t think of it. 4

Little kaiya Posted October 8, 2024 Report Posted October 8, 2024 I'll fall asleep with my paci and will wake up with it as my Daddy has a pink ribbon holder that goes around my neck. Alternatively there are times where I'm just waking up and if my paci has fallen out if my mouth my Daddy will pop it back into my mouth with a gentle, happy, Daddy smile. 1

I’ve looked into the adult paci clips but they are so expensive but never though about using normal ones! I’m probably a tad slow 😂 as I can’t understand why it didn’t cross my mind. Thank you for the smart suggestion.

And also avoiding them to fell on the floor. If adult clips are too expensive, a baby one could be too short. I suggest to buy 2 pacifier clips and sew them to each other (after removing the no more useful extremities). Or only buy the extremities and sew the ribbon that connect themes. It could be a great and fun creative activity. 1
Littlekitten01 Posted October 30, 2024 Report Posted October 30, 2024 Me fall asweep wif one evewy bight unless me no feel good. When me fall asweep, me wake up wif it not in my mouf which is otay cause me get comfort fwom it when me faww asweep.
.คℓ𝐞メเᏰααα .ᐟ Posted October 30, 2024 Report Posted October 30, 2024 At some point, I realize that I'm too sleepy and spit my binkie out. I can typically find my binkie the next time I want it, but it glows in the dark. Binkies sorta hurt my teeth if I use them too long, so I don't like falling asleep while using them.
starlie Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 i definitely fall asleep with my favorite stuffie. i got an isabelle build-a-bear one year for christmas and I can’t sleep well without her now, so we always go to bed together but pacis cause my teeth to shift easily so I only use them for a little bit at a time and take them out before falling asleep. i do have a paci clip tho so i can always keep it near just for comfort and something to fidget with before falling asleep.
Baby Manda Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 I have 3 different sizes of pacifiers and a pacifier clip. I rotate through them based on my needs. I put on my diaper, get my studfies packed around me (I don't wanna fall outta bed!) and pin my paci to my pj's (that my cg picks for me). I pop my paci in my mouth and turn on my lullaby music box and usually go right to sleep. I'm up super late tonight. I need to check in.
ScarletBaby Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 I don’t fall asleep with my paci every night but when I do, it’s a toss up if I wake up with it or not. I’ve considered using my paci clips but am unsure how I’ll handle the plastic on my chest or wherever. I’m sure I could handle it but I can’t be a little like princess and the pea or Goldilocks when it comes to sleeping. It’s gotta be just right. 1
PigtailPrincess Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 I tend to gnaw at my pacis lol so Daddy or I takes it out before I sleep sleep because if I don't my jaw will be super sore in the morning from chewing it in my sleep
kuuchan Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 Sometimes i do! But it definitely falls out sometime during the night haha xD i also use a paci clip so at least it doesn’t fall out of the bed to the floor or anything (i toss around a lot in my sleep so) 1
PrincessCarmilla Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 I do too. And I don't tend to loose them in the night though I also tend to use pacifiers that are sized up to adult mouths (look up Fixx size 8 pacis if you're curious. I found them to be worth the money). They seem to be be more secure in the mouth than even a size 6. Doesn't feel as good as my thumb though. I did use to wake up in the morning with me biting down on them until I fell asleep sucking my thumb and a went CHOMP! That hurt and I haven't chewn my pacifiers since then. I guess it's because I now know how it feels
AlleyKat Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 Sometime I do when I have trouble falling and need to relax. That and a stuffie helps as well. I actually brought a paci clip to keep it from getting lost on the floor or in the bed.
