Alright you know what time it is!!! A new Would you Rather Book Edition!!!

Today's is pretty simple but has an extra bonus essay part.

Would you rather read your romance novel from male or female perspective? No cheating and saying dual as we all love that 🤭

Bonus Essay: Why?

I'd rather read from a male perspective. 98% of my reading the last few years has been gay romance. There seems to be less of a need to abide by gender specific rolls in gay romance. Even in het romance, the MMC is often less bound by gender rolls than the FMC. It's frustrating having the 'act like a proper lady' rhetoric be a consistent theme in books.

Another question!!!! And this one is fun!

You are the main character in an EPIC fantasy. The catch? You dont know if you are the protagonist or the antagonist. You will either save the day or start an era of darkness. A wise woman you once saved offers to tell you which you are or she can let you continue on your journey only to find out at the end with everyone else. Which would you rather and why?

P.S. Extra points if ypu describe or attach a picture of what your wise woman looks like

Well, typically, a well written villain isn't that different from the hero, as in both sides think they're doing what's right.  Also, historically, the 'hero' is whoever wins.  So, odds are there are people that consider you the villain or the hero depending on how much they benefitted or lost from what you did

I'm rolling the dice.  I'mma do whatever I think is right at the time anyway.

Huh, wise woman.  Let's say, long dark gray hair, shriveled body, yellowish skin, and with a level of strength that have caught more than one adventurer off guard.

I'm not sure I have a preference.  But I do write both male and female POVs, so that might be why.

Geez that's tough. Male most likely as it's the easiest to self insert into the story and if it's incredibly steamy I could make the most out of it but there's a lot to be said about the reverse perspective and how nice it is to know you are doing a good job. Ok female for sure because then in every scene you could breast boobly everywhere and not just down the stairs.
