What we WANT to say - A chatting topic πŸ§ πŸ§šβ€β™‚οΈ

Hihi all, its your resident hermit Pigtail here.

So lately I have been struggling with alot of emotions and brain changes and confusion. It's a bit of a war zone in my head currently. But it isn't only heavy things sometimes it's also random happies or thoughts or whatever. The brain can be strange.

Anyways alot going on up there right now, and a great majority of the time I feel I have very little folks to say any of it to. I know I am not alone in this. Ya know maybe therapy was hard, or my cucumbers are up, or my brain said a weird word that made me giggle. All the stuff that either doesn't fit into a conversation, is too random, or heavy, or the person has zero interest in the thought, those thoughts areΒ  why I made this.

Let's say what we want!!! Please try to mark trigger warnings (also remember while heavy is allowed this is not The Lighthouse Club) or anything that might be controversial (let's keep politics low too friends as this isnt meant to upset).

Mostly I want this to be a stream of consciousness where others can see the thoughts and comment too if they like. I do ask if you use this that you also try to respond to at least one! Let's put some effort into this and see if we can get the recognition alot of us want for pur thoughts by giving it to others too.

You may post as many as you want i fully expect it could be empty or could get large.  And in the spirit of the post let's only respond to when things interest ypu not to debate. I am trying to keep this nice! Which means nothing on fellow members. If you are upset with a person the is a conversation that should be had with them not us. Other than that the world is your oyster 😊

So feel free to share and interact. I am hoping that we can all get some good conversation going without heavy expectation or specific parameters.

Thanks ahead to all who participate!

Yours,

Pigtail

Okies I will start with a silly followed by less silly.

I am making quesadillas and I am convinced there is one guy in the factory (I have a whole back story in my head. His name is Tony and he is a 1st generation Italian saving for college) that is TERRIBLE at making them the same size. There is legit a 1 inch difference. Tony bless you but please save fast so my tortillas make sense again.

I've been avoiding posting lately. I have a myriad of reasons (excuses) as to why, but most of them are a direct result of my neurodivergent thought process- which is caused by my fluctuating mental health issues. However, I'm still going to attempt to participate in this thread!

I can't connect my current sims 2 floating house the way I want to. It's not nearly as functional as I'd originally intended and it's driving me crazy. But on a happier note, I do enjoy the challenging building process and know how to move the sims around the lot without too much of a problem.

I discovered a word I can’t say, try as I might I couldn’t figure out how to say β€œRecreationally”.. kinda funny now but ain’t it weird our brains do that sometimesΒ

I like the idea of this thread <: My brain jumps around way too much sometimes so like even though I do like writing it's hard to write longer things that stay on one topic sometimes xd

Umm mostly lighthearted at this point but I just cried for a bit because the old Walmart in my hometown was moved to a different part of my hometown.. 15 years ago.. I live on the opposite side of the world now.. Why am I like this

I've also been playing sims but sims 4

Also for some reason the way you described that made me think about how I used to play the roller coaster tycoon games

Ugh I feel yhis. I play Disney Dreamlight Valley for fun and I love how a certain area looks but it is HARD to navigate and I hate that. Honestly I am not the best at designing πŸ˜‚

Change! So hard for neurodivergent minds hahaha.  I literally can't think abput my home town. I still dream of the days before a grocery store came to town.... when i was 14. I am *whispers* 34.... let it go brain!!!! But honestly I think we need to learn to accept and love that part and only then will it recede some. That's my uneducated theory anyways 🀣

Β The way you describe Tony I have the image of Linguini in my head and he and Tony do not belong in a kitchen. I will give them both a pass based on passion for what they do alone. Let's hope Tony finds his Little Chef soon so your meal prep is easier and more consistent.

Β To touch on yourΒ rheumatology question I propose all medical fields should be able to attend school for free as long as they graduate. If they fail out or drop out then they should pay some type of pro rated restitution based off how long they lasted. They did take a spot someone else could have used to become a doctor/nurse/dentist/therapist or whatever so it seems fair. It also cuts down on those who aren't 100% serious and focused. This would then lead to less expensive medical care for all because no student loans to pay back.Β

Β My deep thought for the day is I wish people would stop acting like arsehats to one another. You say you don't like when people do XYZ ? Then don't do it to others. If you ghost someone you can't say ghosters suck. If you talk behind someone's back don't be surprised when people talk behind yours. Life is simple, respect yourself and others equally until they show they do not deserve your respect. Then simply walk away calmly and let them see what they're gonna be missing.Β

I lately try to focus on speaking Spanish and try to concentrate harder and not keeping to revert to English lol.. concentration lol

I often want to say more when I type, but my brain flip flops around a lot. I need to focus myself when I need to say important stuff.

@Ashleyoop

I haven't played 4 as I can't stand the graphics and certain things being removed, but it's always nice to come across another fellow simmer!! And I can see that... my floaty house comes across like a witch-themed amusement park.

@PigtailPrincess

I don't consider myself particularly good at designing either, but I still enjoy it as a hobby. I enjoy playing a customized game over the standard vanilla stuff, so it's extra fun to build from... *almost* the ground up!

*floaty witch house noises*

@shadowrider

Clearly, none of which you've described is possible by all humans. Please explain in crayon-eating terms, so I can recalculate my data entry logs. I wish to learn how to human properly.

*beep boop noises*

Joking aside; some people just don't, can't, or won't treat others properly. And mostly by choice.

This is a novel idea! With the myriad of medical issues I’ve got, waiting for multiple different specialties to have openings suuuucks. Especially when you’re in pain and there’s nothing they can do without seeing you. I totally feel this one and empathize with anyone hurting or suffering mental health issues, so incentivizing the field could be good.Β

Mine for the day is kinda silly to most, but to me, is a good feeling. I mowed the lawn today. With a push mower. By myself. I haven’t done that in over a year because 1. I no longer had a yard and 2. when I did again, I could no longer walk after my accident. So, it was liberating and kinda comforting at the same time if that makes any kind of sense? Anyway, it was a victory on two fronts for me and I def couldn’t have done it without my Daddy at my side. πŸ™‚Β

I wish they did, in the medical world it seems that specialist are becoming less and less

I wish there more because there is so much we don't know about rheumatologyΒ

It can effect your muscle memory as well as the way you think and operator

It can mimic other diseases and it's honestly an autoimmune disease that is less looked at

I really hope you get in soon with someone and if you are ever in my area holler at your girl remember I work with doctors all the timeΒ

Take care of yourselfΒ

Until we meet again remember you matter, you are loved and you are worthy of beingΒ

I have a very silly thought... why are Peeps marshmallow candies called Peeps? They're shaped like bunnies... not chicks... why are they blue and pink and bright yellow? Bunnies are white and grey and brown... hmmmm... now we have Peeps for everything...Halloween,Β  Christmas,Β  Thanksgiving,Β  Valentine’s Day, but they all make sense... the correct shape and color of what they represent....oooooo! What if they made fireworks Peeps! Wow! My brain just exploded in to sugary goodness! And a kaleidoscope of colors and ideas!Β

Where do they make colored sugar?

How do they make colored sugar?

The first fireworks were created in China way back almost before the wheel!...hehehe... not true but a long time ago!!!

Ok! Stop! Time to be done!

Ooh not silly at all imo, that's really really amazing feeling and totally valid! The feeling of being able to do something you were once unable to do can't be understated <: My dad has MS and has recently been celebrating being able to do work outside in the spring in a time where he's usually wiped out from the winter, he's even started teaching his chigong classes again! Just to say I've been getting a lot of that positivity from him and I totally know how it feels, absolutely that's a victory ^^

Having a boy kitty who considers you "his person" is the best. All day this cat follows me and with everything going on it is magical to have him bear. He's also my therapy kitty sitting on my chest when I am distressed. I fed him from a bottle at 3 days old and for a while during his kitten hood I thought he hated me. But when he turned two he started this obsessive nature, following me, purring, loving on me, panicked if he can't get to me, sleeping on my stuff ect. I am also experiencing alot of gealth weirdness lately (doctors think Lupus or some such i think waiting on rheumatologist) and he seems to know when my blood pressure and pulse and such are off. If anyone has any information on all this please share.

Overall I just lub him and am greatful.

Pretty heavy stuff:

It's therapy week finally, but I'm worried, scared actually about how I'll react. There's so much to process this time. And I have parent teacher conferences to lead, and IEP meetings to lead, awards ceremony to attend, and an extra shift at work plus extended family stress to make it through, so little to no time to process therapy. I'm pre-planning meals for the week and searching for a babysitter for my kid Tuesday after therapy in case I dissociated and need to rest. I'm trying to switch visitation days with my ex tp avoid possible triggers. I need to stay present. Focus on moment by moment...
