LeftyGuitar Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 Hi all, Recently I was on Kik. Kik has public groups that you can join. While searching through groups, I noticed that all the ABDL groups were gone and the term ABDL seemed to be non-existent in Kik. Interesting enough there was some MDLB groups, but 3 out of 4 were of them were pro-dommes or the so called pay to play, yuck. I know Kik sucks, but I thought I'd try it out of boredom. Speaking of another platform that sucks, I tried fetlife for the millionth time. While they still have ABDL groups and fetishes, I've noticed that they are trying to keep certain ABDL aspects under wraps or won't allow certain aspects, according to their terms of service. I'm wondering if all of this is stemming from the stigma of ABDL or its something else? I know ABDL isn't everyone's cup of tea in CG/L and that's totally fine. 1
SweetLittleDreamer Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 I would say it’s got a lot to do with the stigma & societies habit of judging before learning. my personal opinion & philosophy is that if it’s not hurting anyone, if it’s kept in the bounds of the law & it’s being done safely & with consent, then who am I to judge somebody else’s life choices. 1

Sadly, probably so 😕 i notice this a lot on regular social media, where abdl has this extremely negative stigma around it… if you’re openly abdl you might get labelled as really terrible things by others! (Not just by vanilla people i’ve noticed.) this is extremely upsetting to me, as abdl just like ddlg isn’t just a kink and is a comfort thing! I do not understand what people get out of spreading negativity and judging others and their moral character over something so harmless!! these moral character judgements are especially bad in the artist sphere. I have thankfully not personally been judged or insulted by anyone for being abdl, but i do feel a lot anxiety around the ”what if”. But i’m trying not to let that stop me, and i’m surrounded by supportive people ❤️ 1
LeftyGuitar Posted May 6 Author Report Posted May 6 Thank you for the replies. I'm not openly ABDL, but I have noticed that there is stigma around it. If others would like to chime in, feel free.
.คℓ𝐞メเᏰααα .ᐟ Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 I think the main problem is that while Ddlg sort of gets used as an umbrella term for kink/non kink (by some folks, not all), abdl hasn't had this language update happen. Which, clearly not everyone is in it for kink purposes, but tell that to the masses. I personally am not abdl, but I have no problem with those that are. I just view them as a younger Littlespace than my own, be it kink or not. 1
