d.daisy Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 HI HI!!Ā so i am obviously a period haver, and a little, and i just wanted to ask for other period havers in this comunity for help to still feel little while on a period? like, i wanna dress up i wanna be padded i wanna do so many little things like usual but for me i get so much back pain i find it hard to move or even be motivated to get out of bed. the logistics doesnt quite fit for me so i tend to just not do anything for the week, little things or big things nothing gets done, but i dont wanna wait for it to end anymore!Ā so have you got any tips and/or tricks to help it feel more normal to have a period and still be little? sorry if this has been said before ><
kuuchan Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 (edited) I'm sorry to hear your periods are so rough on you ; ; Some things that come to mind for me are: Watch cartoons/movies! Get your stuffies/blankies/what ever your comfort little items are and snuggle up good in your bed and watch something that makes you feel little!Ā If you have a bathtub, i've heard that a hot bath helps some people relax while on their period. So make it a littlespacey bathtime! bath toys, bubbles, etc..! have fun with it~ Treat yourself to some snacks! If you have any snacks that make you feel little than treats yourself to some for the time being~ I know i get chocolate cravings during my periods so i usually treat myself to it xD Edited May 8 by kuuchan 2
PigtailPrincess Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 Ok so my answer may not be an answer per say but a call for different mindset. I think alot of us feel we are only little in certain situations or more importantly when they are feeling a certain way. This is fine if you do scenes or are smol only sometimes. But for friendos that are 24/7 or more often than abput 50% of the time we are going to have times where we feel icky (periods included)Ā My challenge to ypu is why are you less of a little qhen doing nothing? Littles get sick or are chronically sick even often and I feel the best way to deal is to find a way to make it still a sm9l spaceĀ For me I have alot of down days so I just surround myself with my smol items and linda make a pretend day. That i am hiding in a castle or that I am quietly gaining knowledge for a impkrtant event. It seems silly but it works. We don't need to "do" things to be little. Even if we have no paci, bottle, diaper, or even a caregiver we are still little. You do this because it is who you are inside and makes that inner child happy.Ā So long story short I think a shift in mindset is more than likely what will help. Hipe this wasn't too ramble and helped. My brain is tired these days 2 4

I also strongly believe in this, and that there is no right or wrong way to be little. It should all come from inside!Ā i will admit that i find myself being āless littleā when depressed. Itās like an instant trigger out of it for me⦠which kinda sucks cus thatās when i would need my positive little self the most right ahaha š these are tricky things, i believe for new littles especially. Iāve become more accustomed to my little identity so being in it 24/7 is easier and more natural, but i do slip away when times are tough, so i sympathize with OP. 1

.ąøāšļ¾ą¹į°Ī±Ī±Ī± .į Posted May 8 Report Posted May 8 Hi. Period haver here. š Everything @PigtailPrincessĀ said,Ā I agree with. But I also wanted to talk specifically about back pain. I have a 36 degrees curve in my spine, due to moderate scoliosis. Pain is an inevitable part of my daily life, but it's manageable. If your period symptoms hurt as bad as you're saying, consider managing your pain with otc pain medication or seeking medical care from your doctor, if otc doesn't work. Pain is a natural part of my life, but it doesn't stop me from being Little. Only adulting does. Ā 2
Andriel_Isilien Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 There are stuffies that have beads inside them to warm up in the microwave. Warmies is a popular brand. I made my own with a turtle plush and rice bag. A heating pad or hot water bottle can also help with back pain. A cute blankie that you like can be the wrap or cover. Drinking water is always good! Have a sippy cup or a favorite cup with a straw nearby to encourage you. A warm bath, as explained above, is an excellent idea! Think SELF-CARE and put some "little" flair to it. I use littlespace to put myself in the mindset of being kinder and taking care of myself. Having a cute version of what I'm doing gives me some comfort and takes my mind off of stress. The pain you're having sounds real awful! I hope these tips help you get through itĀ 2 1
MissNMTX Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 (edited) I say any excuse for snacks and comfy warm things is always acceptable. It's definitely the time where I feel the smallest and most needy. Whatever you need to get though is just fine! Edited May 9 by MissNMTX 1 1

Little Dum Capilli Posted May 10 Report Posted May 10 I too suffer through that time of the month. Daddy and I referee to it as our least favorite Aunt. But I usually just stay in bed; read, watch TV, play X-Box, whatever I feel up to doing as other medical stuff just makes her visits miserable. Can't get any stronger/ more pain management outside a hospital visit and IV hookup. On a similar, but completely different note; I had an idea a few years back that I have been trying to share with everybody that has, or knows someone that has, periods.Ā TLDR: use latex (if you can), nitrile (I personally use these), or vinal gloves to take a tampon out and easily dispose of it. STORY: A few years back I was camping with a bunch of friends at a group campsite that had showers and toilets, but did not provide sanitary disposable recepticals, when our least favorite aunt showed up. During the first tampon change, knowing there was no individual waste buckets in the stalls, and no liner in the bin by the sinks, I took a look at all the cleaning products we did have on hand (we were required to clean the bathrooms before we left). There were vinal gloves to wear while cleaning, and recalling my CPR traing on how to take gloves off in order to contain blood contamination, I realized I could use the vinal glove to remove the tampon, hold it completely in my hand to prevent dripping ( a problem I frequently had) and pull the glove completely around the tampon and off my hand while making a completely contained pouch to dispose of the thing in. It worked so well I started doing that at home every time Aunt Flow shows up. I found the nitrite gloves are easier to take off than the vinal. I don't use latex cause I'm allergic. Thank you for reading my Ted Talk *TM* Ideas Worth Sharing 1

MissNMTX Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 It's kinda funny to me. We have all these tips and tricks to help manage the normal healthy functions of our body and there really isn't anything to help us.... unless you get into messing with your hormones and such. Yet so much goes into ED meds ... totally whack! 1
Sicarie Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 Yes, they have really cute stuffies with warming beads. I also watch movies and color, and stay in my little jammies when I can. I just really treat myself during that time. I have horrible meanie month time. I recently found out I have endometriosis with fibroids, which specifically push on my lower back. It's no fun, and I do struggle to be in the right mindset during that time, so I understand. 1
