Okay, so where are you at in the book? I'm so excited you are enjoying it. This is one of the books I go back to when I need a puck-me-up from life. It's difficult to feel down with Vix around.

So, is Vix just straight wearing lingerie in the Jacuzzi?  I just finished the part where Vix bolts out of the Jacuzzi because of his heartshine.  

Vix is just the epitome of, aw bless him he's doing his best.  It's always pretty fun to guess what the hell Vix is trying to describe.  Also, Travis/Vix is a fun example of the grumpy/sunshine grumpy trope, too.  Also, the Observation Logs are a cute touch.

Yes. Yes he is! And that poor hotel employee! 🤣🤣🤣 And poor Travis. I bet if the hotel employee could have dunked himself into the jacuzzi, too, he would have. 

And Lex is a crusy, nasty, anal douch nozzle!!!! But all is made right in the end. Just wait and see.

Just got done with the sledding chapter.  Magical.  Vix unintentionally, both dragging Lex and completely ignoring him is just...mwah.  And the more pissed off Lex is, the happier I am, so win/win.  The slow evolution of Travis just kind of naturally adjusting to Vix is very cute.  Oh!  I also adore Janice.  She's just unhinged enough for you to know she wouldn't be bailing you out, because she'd be in the cell next to yours.

Holy shit!  The way my mouth dropped open when Henry revealed he was an alien too!  I knew I liked him.

Also, the unintentional roasting of Lex by Vix is so delightful.  Vix hits so hard as like an autistic that never ever learned what masking was and whose special interest is humans.

I only have about a quarter of the book left.  I'm just at the chapter where Travis braids Vix's hair.  

And I'm both surprised and glad that Vix doesn't know the word, psycho.  Cuz...yikes, I was real concerned things were going to take a turn.  

Also...do you think Vix could take Lex?  I know, there's repeated mentions of how small and slim Vix is, but like...that doesn't really mean anything.  The small ones, a lot of time, are on some Chihuahua shit.  And it's not made clear what the size difference is between Vix and Lex.

I didn't think I'd like Henry initially, but he has just been a delight.

I totally think Vix could take Lex! Vix may be from a peaceful race, but he has spunk, his mind is wonderfully devious, he's done his research {giggles} and when it comes to Travis he has no chill. I always pictured Lex as tall, close to Travis's height, thin but not built; so taller than Vix, with a few more muscles than Vix's delicate frame, but not someone who does any kind of exercise beyond sleeping with colleges. {wink}

Henery was a fun surprise! I swear I cheer each time he reveals himself! And while it's never specifically stated, I'm near positive Fern (the craft lady) is alien, too. Between her own quirks and being so chill with Vix's, how could she not be?

PH-1L plays his rolles perfectly! I love how he tripped Lex, sending him into a table of glitter. Lex's personality needs all the sparkle help it can get!

The Christmas party was almost as crazy as the previous dinner party! (Almost because it's only Lex going off the rails, again, and not the whole room.) I cheer when Vix throws Travis's drink on Lex. He really is done with Lex's shit at that point. Good thing Travis carted Vix off before he could do anything more. 

Prepare for more feels...all the feels.

I mean...I did want to see Vix fist fight Lex.  That kid has zero chill even if you're just looking at the observation logs.  If I remember right it goes from just Travis, to my human Travis, to my mate.  Also, at no point, has Vix been scared of or intimidated by Lex, so the wrong word might get a bitch slapped.

I did really love Fern.  I'm guessing she's like Henry, in that, she's been on Earth for years.  I'm down to head cannon her as an alien.

...oh PH-IL.  It did seem purposeful, inanimate object or not.  And what I think cemented my love for Henry was the back and forth between him and Travis at dinner.  And this also, explains why he didn't bat an eye over PH-IL.  He probably saw that vacuum and knew immediately.

Yeah, Fern definitely had 'old school alien been on earth for ages' energy to her. Her responses to Lex's antics were priceless! 🤣

Oh, Henry most defiantly knew immediately and did his best to stir the pot a little with the "everyone is dying to know" remark he made. All his interactions with Travis and Vix take on new meaning when you learn he's Talurian.
