Loving yourself

Good evening or good morning wherever you might be in this beautiful gorgeous world. 

How have you all been? Have any of you had any beautiful adventures lately? 

I wanted to come on here to talk about loving yourself. So many times we are so negative and so hard on ourselves. 

We forget that we matter, we forget that we deserve love and more importantly we forget how to love. 

We allow what others say about us shape Who we Are, we allow those negative thoughts to seep into our hearts and take root.

We believe all the bad things people say, and we forget all the beautiful things we've done. 

I know I can honestly say I'm one of those people, I grew up in a home where I was despised and hated. I didn't know what love was, I never knew what it meant to be loved. I never received my first hug until I was 17. 

Going through all that, it had shaped my mind into always believing the bad stuff about myself. It took a long time and a lot of therapy for me to see that I'm not hated or despised. And my past does not define or control me. 

So I want to take a moment and tell you all what I've learned.   sometimes people are cruel for no reason, they say hateful mean things to hurt you just so that they can be happy. 

But that doesn't mean you deserve their cruelty and that doesn't mean you have to take it.  You can tell people what bothers you, you are allowed to say I don't like that and you can stand up for yourself. 

 you don't have to look in the mirror and always believe you're broken. You don't always have to think the worst of yourself, you don't always have to think you're unworthy of someone's affection. You are not someone's last choice, you do deserve to be someone's first choice. 

It's okay to not have everything together, it's okay to not know what you want to do with your life. It's okay to say I just need a break for a little bit and it's okay to start over. 

All of you on here are wonderful, amazing, creative and all of you deserve a happy ending.

I have read almost all of your stories and post, I have not ever came across someone who was bad. All of you have good in you, you're all amazing and wonderful. All of you are here to be loved, to find love and to find where you belong. 

You aren't bad people, you haven't done anything that has caused you to be unloved and you are perfect Just the Way You Are. 

Don't allow the negative thoughts of people who are mean and cruel to define Who You Are. 

Because do you know what I see? I see a brave, beautiful, courageous, amazing, phenomenal, outstanding, perfect people. 

I know we all have flaws goodness knows I do, I'm not always bubbly, believe it or not I can be as grumpy as grumpy from snow white and the seven dwarfs. But that doesn't mean I'm not worthy of love, just like you all are so worthy of love. 

I truly am so proud of all of you, I love reading your post, I love reading your stories and I love watching you all blossom into the beautiful amazing people on here.

Remember to Love yourself, because no one can ever replace you. There will never be another you, so don't take yourself for granted because you are one of the kind. 

Thank you for always being my friend and for checking in on me and making sure I'm okay. 

You all are my family, and as the wise stitch once said: ohana and ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind..

My door is always open to those who need a friend or just need someone to talk to. 

Until we meet again remember you matter, you're loved and you're worth it being loved.
