It might be worth joining the Lighthouse Circle group, where people can offer you some support while you struggle with things.

Lil_K47 Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago ladies im so very sorry your both feeling this way!!  as someone who struggles with depression it breaks my heart to see you both post these things.. please know i care! your very welcome to reach out to me anytime if you need someone to chat with or some words of encouragement. not long ago I was the one feeling very similar to this. And it was very difficult to take the first step into getting myself some help. For me that first step was getting a primary doctor to get back on some medication's for depression and anxiety. My next step is happening this week. Although emotionally and physically I'm feeling better I still need help unpacking some of my past  emotion/feelingsand I'm going to be seeing a therapist. I actually have my first consult happening tomorrow. Now I don't know what resources you all have available in your areas but in mine there are several programs that you can reach out to that can help with counseling if you don't have insurance. There are a lot of free programs out there. Not sure where either one of you are employed at but my job has an employee assistance program where they will help set you up with therapy and even pay for the first few sessions. Although this site is a fabulous source for support, just remember there are a lot of  available options out there if you take the time to look for them. If I can help you in anyway please don't hesitate to reach out!  Sending lots of hugs to you both!  1 2

So if you were to click those three little yellow bars up in the corner of your screen click on forums scroll down and click on resources within that thread there's a post with a lot of numbers. 1

I just want you to know you're not alone, and I'm here for you. Life can feel impossibly heavy sometimes, especially when you're already doing your best just to keep going. But your feelings are valid, and it's okay to not be okay. Please don’t give up—you're stronger than you know, even if it doesn’t feel like it at times. You've made it through tough days before, and you’re not alone in this. If you can, please reach out to a mental health professional or someone you trust. You deserve support and care, especially now. I'm here for you anytime you need to talk or just want someone to sit with you in this. You're not a burden. You're human, and you matter more than you know. 💛 1

Whatever is getting to you so much will eventually fade into the distance. and you will feel better. You just have to try to be strong for now, and understand there are people who care and want you to feel better. I can only echo the offers made above, so if you'd like someone to talk to, or even distract you from things, then feel free to get in touch. 1 1

I always open up to my friends about what I'm going through and they're very supportive and I'll see a therapist. Thank you so much for your kind words and advice💕 1
