CinnaRay Posted August 7 Report Posted August 7 I don't know why but for few weeks I keep feeling so down and depressed. I start crying and get teary if even somthing were to go a little wrong and keep thinking about the past. I have been getting constant nightmares for sometime and my sleep schedule is really messed up. I really want to speak to someone about it but I don't really feel comfortable or close enough with anyone that I can speak to about everything I'm feeling. I get really afraid of what they'll think about me and what if I'm troubling them. I really feel like I need a hug and cry holding onto someone and just spill everything I'm thinking about. 1 3
Little kaiya Posted August 7 Report Posted August 7 It sounds like professional support may be a good option. A huge and a cry can help but sometimes we need more than a friend in order to move forward in a healthy way. 2

Yes that's true but currently I'm not in a place where it will be possible for me to seek any professional help. I been thinking of seeing a therapist I hope I'll be in a better place so I can finally get some help. 1
NR_Daddy Posted August 8 Report Posted August 8 (edited) Depending on where you are in the world, there are usually helplines you can call and speak to someone anonymously. They can help to arrange help for you, and may know ways to talk to you better and more effectively than someone who is a friend could. If you want to talk to someone, then I'm happy to DM if you need a friend. I truly think everyone goes through some bad times in our lives, we all have our ups and downs so it might just be a phase. I certainly have had my fair share of bad moments and struggled to get through them. Just know that things likely won't always be like this for you. Edited August 8 by NR_Daddy 1 1
littlemoonbeam Posted August 8 Report Posted August 8 Helplines are a great resource. Some give you the option to speak over the phone or message, which might make talking about what you are experiencing feel less frightening. It can be awfully hard at these times to do any form of journaling, but there is the option of writing or recording a letter to yourself as well. That way, you have a safe space to talk, and you don't have to share it with anyone else. Times like these are never easy, but I am sending all of my strength and love your way 🤍 2

Thank you for opening up and sharing something so personal—it takes a lot of strength to do that, even here. You're not alone, and your feelings are completely valid. Sometimes, when everything builds up inside, it can feel overwhelming, and wanting someone to just be there with a hug and a listening ear is such a human thing to need. Even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, there are people who care and want to support you. If you're not comfortable opening up to someone close just yet, maybe speaking to a mental health professional could be a gentle first step—they're there to listen without judgment and to help you sort through everything you're feeling. You deserve to feel supported, seen, and cared for. Please don't feel like you're a burden—you’re not. I’m sending you a big virtual hug right now, and I hope you can find a little peace today, even if just a moment at a time. You’re not alone in this. 💛 1

Thankyou so much I'll surely try and check the available helplines where I live. I feel a little better right now, hopefully it will all pass soon and things get better. 1

I have been a little busy lately and sometimes I hardly have energy to do anything. But I really wanna try writing because I am better at expressing what I feel while writing. Thankyou I really appreciate it 💟 1 1

I find it easier to write here because I think of it as writing for myself so it's easier to put in words what I feel, but when speaking with others I don't know how to start or what to say. 1
