Hello all Pigtail book wurm extraordinaire here!!! (Lol yes I gave myself a fancy title 🤭)

The time has come!! We are just waiting for one person to get the book so we are going to go ahead and get started.

So chapters (we are going to do 3 each week for now) are assigned on Wednesdays and due the following Wednesday. Its a fairly even pace so everyone can keep up and have fun, if yall start falling behind please check in so I can adjust if needed. 

For each reading assignment, so each week, I will be puting out discussion questions (3-5 usually) that are written by myself with yall in mind. These are not at all required but they are fun. Just make sure and always spoil your answers. I have a post on spoiling let me know if you need me to tag you in it.

Per usual please try not to read ahead as I will be arranging 2-3 discussions throughout the next few months so we can discuss our book. 

Any important posts I will tag all of you just like I did here so make sure to check those tags.

As promised here are the questions for chapters 1-3! Make sure you read clear through chapter 3 before you look as there are spoilers in them.

Questions from chapters 1-3

Question 1: Only a few pages in and think we all know Eli is a GIANT tool. My question is two fold. First off at what point in this night would you personally have had a reaction and what would it be? Second any thoughts on whether Willow has any responsibility in this disaster?

Question 2: OK so a purely speculation question. Do you think we have seen the last of King Douche Eli? If you think not extra points for your guess as to how he will show back up.

Question 3: We know the stereotypes of the "rebound relationship" and its pitfalls. However sometimes, even IRL, the rebound relationship becomes forever true love. What do you think are the differences that make those ones successful over others?

Question 4: Here we see Kian treating Willow WILDLY different from the way Eli has. It seems as a result she is giving the brave confidence to him that Eli wanted. Thoughts? How often do we not get what we want because of how WE act? Can changing the way you treat someone really change that much?

I wanna thank all of you first for participating. We have been on fire this time!

 

That being said I know yall are chomping at the bit to read more so please feel free to now read chapters 4-6!!! I think this pace is working well but please feel free to give feedback. I just want everyone to be able to have fun and not feel pressured.

 

On top of that yall seem to be enjoying the questions (which are 100% optional) and have had some great responses. So be on the lookout in the next 24 hpurs or so for this week's set.

Question 5: In this chapter Willow talks about loving the idea of someone rather than the person themselves. Do you think this is a common problem? If so how can she avoid this in the future do you think?

 

Question 6: Kian talks about his experience with Willow being one of a kind, that in his 400 some years he has never had this feeling. Do you think this is an emotional thing or some kind of physical genetics one? Do you think this is a once in a lifetime thing or is it just that he hasn't found one of a few over the years?

 

Question 7: The difference in lifespan between Willow and Kian are being made clear here. What are your guesses on how this will affect their future and any possible solutions?

 

Question 8: Willow makes a big deal of the fact she cant pursue Kian because she is so recently out of a long term thing. Thoughts? Is the waiting period important or is it a self imposed societal standard? Also do you think people cab be 100% soul mates but miss their tine window so to speak? Or is a soul mate a soul mate?

Question  9: Here Kian is working his magic in the club and we get the vibe he has done this exact thing in this exact place 1000 times. Do you think it ever gets old? Or does satiating hunger of any kind always excite?

Question 10: Here we meet another of Kians kind. Let's do some guessing. Do you think they are common? Natural beings or made? Any other thoughts on the sub species?

Question 11: We learn that feeding on the desire a Incubus makes isnt the only way to satiate. Do you think Kian could lose control, hurt Willow? If so do you think this fear plays into it his early reluctance to seek her out?

Question 12: In this scene Kian tells Willow that humans were wrong and Incubus were Fae not demons but that demons did in fact exist. So obviously some info has leaked through the years. Any guesses on how since these creatures seem to be protective of their secrets?

Question 13: Here we see Kian asking Willow to teach him human love. Do you think this is even possible? For a creature seemingly incapable of it for 400 or more years to fully understand? To give her what she needs? Or is this heartbreak waiting to happen?

Question 14: Kian says the cats can "see things they would rather keep hidden" Does he mean more than just appearance? Any other thoughts on this?

Question 15: So our boy Kian is having one heck of a time trying to research dates for Willow. Do you find it unusual that this is a large gap in his knowledge? Any guesses on future similar gaps?

Question 16: Here's a fun one! What would your Incubus/Succubus look like? Clothes on please lol.
 

Question 17: Here Kian tells us that he has felt and been alone pretty much all his 400 years. Any thoughts on the long term damage mentally of that? Do you think we will see a bad side of him? How do you think he kept his sanity over the years?

Question 18: So Kian cannot feed from anyone else and has this huge connection to Willow already. What if something major were to happen to her? Do you think he would feel it and sicken and die immediately, or would he just starve to death like before? What is the fate of mates who lose the other?

Hello my NNC members!!! Here are the questions for this week (chapters 17-20)! Our book is getting very good.

Question 19: Willow brings up the occasional slight insecurity with her body that comes even though she has worked hard on getting rid of them. Do you beleive that part of our insecurities can only be healed by another person or do you believe all confidence can come from oneself?

Question 20: Here we see Kian questioning if he had opened up about his feeding needs over the years if any others would have given themselves simply to help him survive. Thoughts? Do you think humans are selfish and never would have or is it a self fulfilling prophecy that none have because he hadn't given them the chance?

Question 21: Kian talks of the possibility of his feelings for Willow becoming twisted if he gave in. What do you think will keep this from happening as their relationship progresses? Is that inevitable as he dives deeper into their sexual relationship?

Question 22: If you were Willow after the Lachlan incident how would you feel? Do you think Kian should have told her the guy was in the area? Done something to prepare her for meeting other fae creatures?
