LittleCloudBee Posted September 3 Report Posted September 3 Hi, I was just wondering what other littles do for Halloween? I usually just watch horror movies and eat a lot of candy. But it's become really boring since I watch horror movies a lot. I was wondering if any littles go trick or treating? I've been dreaming about doing it for months and I've even come up with a plan to dress as the Charlie Brown ghost costume so no one can tell it's me. Since I'm 25, I feel like I'm too old but I also miss it. I miss seeing other people's costumes and getting candy. I know this is long but I remember seeing posts about littles wearing costumes for Halloween and was hoping that'd be okay to do that. Or maybe someone can give ideas so I can have fun and stuff ☺️ 2
littlemoonbeam Posted September 3 Report Posted September 3 I always love getting really festive for Halloween! The whole week, I try to plan a spooky or fall-based activity like baking some Halloween treats, getting cheap Halloween decor, making my own costume, and having a horror movie marathon too! I'd love to go trick-or-treating, but I am a bit scared to as well, so this might not be much help, but I think dressing up is always the best part, even if you don't go out! You could also dress up and give candy out, or just walk around your neighborhood to be in the festivities 🎃 1
Lil_K47 Posted September 4 Report Posted September 4 personally I think you're never too old to dress up! I'm 48 and I still do it every year! If you wanna go trick-or-treating go trick-or-treating! Who cares what anyone thinks, do what makes you happy! Or if there are any little fall festivals in your area lots of adults go to those and dress up. If you like seeing the costumes and you live somewhere where you can pass out candy dress up to do that. I don't currently live somewhere where I get trick-or-treaters, but when I was at my dad's house I dressed up to give out candy. I love interacting with all the kids and telling them how much I love their costumes! I used to throw a Halloween party every year. We did apple bobbing, rock painting, pumpkin painting, face painting. at one time I had a lot of friends with smaller kids so I set up games all over my yard, and set up a little Photo Booths. I actually had kids of all ages from my neighborhood pop in. even the adult adults were bobbing for apples! (no alcohol was even required ! haha) lol I still do the Photo Booths for the girls that I work with for holidays! I buy funny eyeglasses and props that I get on Amazon and everybody loves it! We take all kinds of pictures and just have fun with it! If you need a fun twist on watching movies I have a projector and a big blowup screen that I set up in my backyard to do scary movies! I light up the fire pit, then we chill and relax! They've been years when I've gotten together with my girlfriends for pumpkin carving, and toasting seeds. (there may have been some wine involved lol) If you need need fun activities for your little side, find Halloween coloring and activity books! You can find all kinds of great crafts on Amazon! The possibilities are endless! Be you and have fun!! 🥰 2 2

Lil Baby Stoner Posted September 4 Report Posted September 4 I have tiny humans so I like going all out I go to the pumpkin patch and do hayrides probably won’t do corn maze this year but love Halloween so even staying in and having movie night theme food and snacks and a movie is fun I do dress up 1
Little kaiya Posted September 4 Report Posted September 4 (edited) My Wife, Daddy and I start going to Haunted Farms the first weekend of October and then usually the weekend before Halloween we travel and do a Friday to Monday trip doing 3 farms or haunted walks. Halloween night my Daddy takes me truck or treating in my fursuit. People in the neighborhood loving seeing "the pink fox" show up 😁 Edited September 4 by Little kaiya 1
NickyMoon Posted September 4 Report Posted September 4 I love dressing up for Halloween!! I have friends that live in a very active trick or treating neighborhood so I usually volunteer to help them pass out candy so I have an excuse to dress up lol. I really want to go to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights this year because they are doing a Terrifier themed haunted house but not sure if it is going to happen. 1
sheepie uwu Posted September 4 Report Posted September 4 Everyday is Halloween when you're a spooky kid. But it's the best time of year to go shopping! Candy can be purchased year round. I'm after clothing and home decorations! I love the tacky stuff and my wife loves the more realistic macabre stuff. 1
Faelin Posted September 4 Report Posted September 4 I dress up and watch all my fav horror movies. friends are always welcome to join if they are able. 1

And the best part is no one can stop me muahhahaha!! 😈 Decorate your room, house, outside the house, do fun activities that help get in the vibe for the whole month! Also I can’t remember if it was last year or the year before last but there was a Halloween party here on the forum. CG’s and Littles attended there was a playlist made that we all listened to on YT, it was really really fun! You have to bring the energy you want! I watch nightmare before Christmas every year on Halloween (I can’t do real scary or I will have nightmares for the rest of the week) and if the holiday is during a work day I dress up at the office too! 1

Little_Blossom Posted Thursday at 08:12 PM Report Posted Thursday at 08:12 PM I work at a carnival company that does school and small events so I get it dress up every year! Even though I am the only employee that does, I have a lot of in and the kids love it! I say if it makes you happy and it's not harming anyone, you should do what you love! I'm going to dress up as Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle this year! 1
tressygirl1119 Posted Thursday at 11:18 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:18 PM Question for those of us here that are brave enough to still get dressed up and go trick-or-treating, do you have any tips? Were a lot of the houses 'weirded out' by an adult trick-or-treating or were most people indifferent to it? I really want to but omg I'm toooooo nervousssss looool

Last year I was a cowgirl. This year I don’t know what I want to be. I lost a significant amount of weight so I don’t know if I should dress sexy to show it off 🤭😆

I also dress up for work, but not on Halloween, coz our policy is weird and we can't celebrate holidays coz it might offend someone... instead to learn about holidays and dress up for pajama day, hat day, green day, red day, blue day, purple day...
CupcakeSparklies Posted Saturday at 11:46 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:46 PM Halloween and fall are my favorite seasons. I go to pumpkin patches and corn mazes. I like to carve pumpkins and make pimpkin pie/bread with the insides and roast the seeds. I dress up for work. We are voting on the theme right now I decorate my house. I wish I could go trick or treating but I do like give out candy and seeing all of the costumes.
