NR_Daddy Posted September 6 Report Posted September 6 (edited) Hi everyone. Just a heads up that for many places in the world, there will be a total Lunar Eclipse tomorrow, where the moon is in the shadow of the earth and creates a phenomena known as a "blood moon". The entire eclipse will be visible in Asia — from Saudi Arabia to the Philippines, as far north as the Arctic Ocean all the way down to Antarctica — as well as parts of East Africa and the western half of Australia. The rest of Africa and Australia, as well as Europe, will be treated to some but not all of the action. Tidbits will be visible from the Brazilian coast and part of Alaska. The moon’s vanishing act will be followed two weeks later by a partial solar eclipse visible from New Zealand, a sliver of Australia and Antarctica. For more details, see this article .... https://www.pbs.org/newshour/science/watch-live-septembers-blood-moon-total-lunar-eclipse If you live in the UK, it will be visible to the east for some, especially those on higher ground with a view to the east.
