NikkiNoo Posted Sunday at 10:40 AM Report Posted Sunday at 10:40 AM Hello all you beautiful people! Has anyone tried 'Disney Bounding' as a way to bring subtle little-ness into everyday life and work? Bounding is styling your everyday clothes in a way that is inspired by Disney characters, and came about because apparently adults aren't allowed to wear full costumes at Disney parks (I guess because they could be mistaken for staff). https://britswithears.uk/walt-disney-world/packing-and-outfits/disney-bounding-how-to-join-in/ It could be a fun way to bring some littlespace into the boring adult world, and you could probably get away with it at work or college if you don't have to wear a uniform. Just thought it would be a fun concept to play around with! Share some photos or inspiration if you've done this or would like to.
.คℓ𝐞メเᏰααα .ᐟ Posted Sunday at 02:51 PM Report Posted Sunday at 02:51 PM I've not tried it, but Ariel, Jasmine, Ursula, Queen Grimhilde, or Maleficent will be my outfit inspo. I'm glad the safety rule is in place, there are a lot of creeps out there.
MissNMTX Posted Sunday at 05:25 PM Report Posted Sunday at 05:25 PM I've never heard of bounding, but Disney is an excellent way to subtly bring your smaller side out. I'm a middle so it's especially easy. Disney for the win!♥️
CupcakeSparklies Posted Sunday at 09:21 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:21 PM I used to "bound" while going to the parks. It is sad, but now I feel silly wearing them outside of the parks. I need to embrace my little side more and try this.
Lil_K47 Posted Sunday at 11:09 PM Report Posted Sunday at 11:09 PM well i don't necessarily Disney "bound" I do do subtle things that more or less bring out my little side when I'm dressing. I often wear my hair in braids or space buns, I have a lot of children's hair clips, and just fun shaped hair clips in general that match just about every outfit that I have. lol Being a nurse, its probably a little easier for me to get away with wearing things at work that bring out my little personality. like all of my scrub tops are fun and colorful from cartoon characters to having strawberries, butterflies, or flowers all over them. I wear fun badge holders, earrings and pins on my scrub jacket to match every holiday, season, or occasion. im pretty lucky, coworkers accept my quirky personality and everyone in general finds it fun and uplifting looking to see if I've changed my accessories up, which I do often! Currently right now I'm even sporting a unicorn besties necklace, and two sets of Bestie children's bracelets, which two of my best gals wear without an ounce of shame! lol here's an idea if you can't, or don't feel comfortable enough to express yourself outwardly, they make some super cute children's undergarments for adults. These can always be worn underneath your clothes and only you will know you have them on! Ive seen some super cute Carebear and strawberry shortcake ones on Temu and Shein. 1
