NR_Daddy Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM Report Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM I'm pretty much the opposite. I can't drink coffee. I don't like the smell. I also don't do and fruit teas. It's not proper tea.
MissNMTX Posted yesterday at 08:44 PM Author Report Posted yesterday at 08:44 PM @NR_DaddyI knew I was going to get chastised for my tea choice!😂 I have more proper teas also. It was just what I had yesterday. It was twinnings though.

Not many people here drink twinings. Mostly it's PG Tips, Tetley, or Yorkshire Tea as everyday teas.
MissNMTX Posted yesterday at 09:12 PM Author Report Posted yesterday at 09:12 PM @NR_Daddy I have some PG & Yorkshire on my list. But I learned something new today. The Orange chocolate comes in regular bar form? Not just the breaking orange? 🤯 And there's an Advent calendar? These are very exciting revelation.!
NR_Daddy Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM Report Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM PG is okay, but not strong enough a tea for me. They do a stronger variety but I have others I prefer. So Terry's, who do the orange chocolate ball, also do orange chocolate bars. Cadbury's also do orange chocolate buttons, Fingers (chocolate covered shortbread biscuit) in orange and an orange chocolate Twirl bar. Personally I don't like orange choc but plenty of people do.
MissNMTX Posted 23 hours ago Author Report Posted 23 hours ago @NR_Daddy Let me guess. You like dark chocolate? We only get the break apart Terry's oranges her and only at Christmas time ...my favorite time for treats. We might get a peppermint one also, but only at Christmas. I'm not obsessed with orange chocolate, but it's something a bit different. Bars and buttons would be handy. What you're really saying is I'm going to have to spend all my American $'s on British treats. Tea and chocolates! Too bad I can't have a Tesco meal deal shipped. I think I'd be a fan of those!

Not at all, I only eat one type of dark chocolate and that's after eights. 1 hour ago, MissNMTX said: What you're really saying is I'm going to have to spend all my American $'s on British treats. I'm not a fan of ready meals. I make everything from scratch. If you want to try a typical English meal, you could also try mince and potatoes. Seperate and boil the minced beef for about 10-15 mins til cooked, add gravy granules (I use Compton's gravy salt) and thicken with cornflour whisked into water. I also have carrots and broccoli with that and also Yorkshire Puddings.
MissNMTX Posted 22 hours ago Author Report Posted 22 hours ago @NR_Daddy No importing British treats.. or non healthy pre made food...got it Ok, so what then? You like cakes and strong teas, but not biscuits or chocolate? 1

I already cut back on indulging to protect my waistline 😂
MissNMTX Posted 21 hours ago Author Report Posted 21 hours ago @NR_Daddy okay fine. I suppose that all sounds very sensible.
