follow requests

hey y'all, just wondering if anybody else has been having follow request go through without actually having approved them?? because I've had like three of those here lately, yet I'm still getting actual follow request to approve??

Is this a fluke of the site or do I need to adjust something in my profile settings.

 

And not that I'm trying to be hateful here, but just saying people, if you have absolutely nothing in your profile, nothing in you're about me section, and your only activity is a list of people of the opposite sex that you mass followed, the chances of me approving your follow are slim to none!  For the most part, the members  that I follow or who I allowed to follow me or people that I interact with regularly, who are active here on the forum,  show that they want to be part of the community , and are supportive of their fellow members!

So I dont get a ton of follows but this is how I understand it has worked in the past.

Anyone can follow you. Because it takes both following eachother to unlock messaging, if someone follows you they are added but cant do anything until you reciprocate. You can however go into your followers on your page and remove folks you didnt follow back if that makes you more comfortable.

But I may be wrong, so I am looking into it

I just asked Grandpa the same thing. It’s one of the features since the site upgrades that can be somewhat frustrating.

Yesss we are looking into it to make sure all is well. Thank you for bringing it up, as I said I dont get a ton of follows 🤣.

well the thing that was weird, it is that I'm still getting follow requests that I actually have to approve, and I have a list of people in that little section that I've just left there cause I don't wanna be mean and reject but I don't care to follow them or have them follow me you know! lol and it's just been within the last week that I started getting notices that were saying people started following me and I was like wait a minute I didn't approve that! lol

Ok apparently it is a little glitch in the system that they havnt fixed yet because it isnt as big of a deal. So thats why. But as I said ypu should be able to manually remove them and if you cant wand want someone off your list feel free to just message me and I will take care of it. Sorry for the confusion.

If getting chores done = candy, I should see a small delivery truck backing up here real soon.

When I finally quit today I'm not sure who was more relieved, me, the weedeater, or the chainsaw. But we all agreed enough was enough lol.

The gators aren't going out of their way to see new people right now, season is open so the smart ones are lying low.
