Sorry if I'm being a newbie by asking, but I am still exploring this idea. 

Is the just a space for Daddy doms and little girls? Is this the right place for a man who needs affirmation, comfort, and praise?

So this isn't just a community for Daddy's and little girls. 

This a community built to rally around one another, it takes a village so to speak and we are a village who will always help those in need.

IDK why I feel so nervous with this. Maybe because I'm older and a big guy. is it normal to feel awkward about the whole scene? 

I've had only one experience with what I described earlier, and it gave me a very therapeutic relief. that's what I'm looking to replicate.

This is a new place, consider it like moving to a new school or something, you’re going to be nervous, that is the norm! However if your nice to people, treat them with respect you’d expect yourself you’ll get on in no time, this is coming from a slightly younger but still bigger guy

You feel like you need affirmation, comfort, and praise? You could very well be somewhere on the Littlespace spectrum. Or maybe just a curious sub, which is valid too.

Either way, welcome. I'm sure you'll find answers for questions here. And yes, we encompass a wide range of folks, DDLG is more of an umbrella term.
