how do y'all feel about ai?

Since I'm not a real artist, but have an artist spirit, I have to use AI to get my idea realized. Would I be okay to post those here?

There are a few groups you can follow that do arts etc, you can also create your own gallery (under the plus up the top of your on cellular) I have a neutral opinion on Ai, as a photographer I have used the likes of photoshop etc on the past which is a form of Ai to help me develop photos that would others go in the bin, I have also enjoyed the use of Ai in a therapeutic setting with the passing of my mother to help me come to terms with this. TLDR Ai is okay if you use in right setting, I have no issues with it

A.I. can be useful in the tech field. However I often find that art that is made by A.I. often lacks that human feeling if a human had made such art.

If you want an artists honest opinion, i hate AI ”art”. i’m quite tired of seeing it around everywhere.

to not sound discouraging, i believe everyone is capable of creating their own art. ”talent” is only one aspect of creating art, but anyone willing to learn can make art. It just needs a bit of patience and will power.

i would hope you would feel like you wouldn’t need to rely on AI in your art process.

but if it’s not against the rules (which i do not know if it is or isn’t) i guess you would be allowed to post them here. It would, in my opinion, be dishonest to call it ”your” work, if you made it with an AI.

(i’m more ok with LLM’s [but not in place of real creative writing], but yeah, as in artist AI is a touchy subject for me haha)

AI doesn't make art, it makes images.
