Winter Preparedness....

I am wondering if anyone has some good tips on winter/blizzard preparedness. I just moved from a warm state to a cold state and am not used to snow at all

Make sure you put plastic on all your windows, buy door draft seals to keep the cold air out, change your filters if you have one for your AC/Heat unit, if you can buy electric tape for your water pipes under your house so they won't freeze (it saved us from losing our water when everything froze).

Keep a bag of salt on hand  comes in very handy
