LuckyLilac Posted Saturday at 11:04 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:04 PM So when feeling big, I temd to sleep to a podcast, maybe a playlist, but when little, it can be a hard itch to scratch. I should probably try some of the asmr out there before I knock it, but most other content seems entirely gear for a little age much younger than mine. I have a littlespace playlist, but half of it would get me all excited and wake me up again lol. Any recommendations, experience, anyone else find silence too deafening to sleep in?
-Soul- Posted Saturday at 11:15 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:15 PM I'm sure others will have some amazing things to offer, the only thing I can think of at present is the Bedtime Stories by CeeBeeBies, however bare in mind this is aimed at a younger audience (I don't know how you identify). that being said I find myself listening to them despite being a CG, the underlining message in some of the stories have helped me with some topics such as grief, friendships and even loneliness, they use people from television and music etc to read them, my favourite being Tom Hardy, here is a link to some:- SFW 1 2
violet-storms Posted Saturday at 11:16 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:16 PM I’m a fan of 90s cartoons, some rugrats or maybe something newer like regular show, I can picture everything going on without watching. It’s good to get my brain to turn off, if I’m in little space my brains usually off anyways tho. There are some audio books on Spotify, like Lion King: https://spotify.link/l44iPmwvLXb Maybe better option 1
beaniebaby95 Posted Saturday at 11:47 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:47 PM Are you a fan of lofi? I follow a youtube channel called otterspace lofi. Its just different lofi stuffs with cute otter backgrounds so not very stimulating but not too quiet either. I also have a specific one i like with the background of a cat that's specifically for bedtime. Lofi in general is just good for sleep imo for those that need sound to sleep. Hope this helps!

When I can't sleep i listen to piano music with rain in the background from YouTube. It's something that soothes my mind and can help me relax. 1
stuffielovingcandymonster Posted Sunday at 06:20 AM Report Posted Sunday at 06:20 AM This is my favourite sleepy little space story/music. Makes me feel super cozy and little and sleepy. Maybe it will work for you too 😊
LuckyLilac Posted Sunday at 04:40 PM Author Report Posted Sunday at 04:40 PM (edited) Those who suggested stories, I stimbled onto this https://youtu.be/uknNqhkwWpA?feature=shared I felt... affirmed, I guess, that with the lightheated child entertainment tone of voice, the language was more complex than you'd probably read to a toddler. Also I guess I felt called out with my reluctance to sleep at a reasonable time lol Edited Sunday at 04:41 PM by LuckyLilac 1

RoseyLittle Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago I can’t sleep in silence. It leaves my brain too much space to run amok! My eldest was struggling with settling at bedtime and someone recommended these beautiful children’s guided meditations by Sada. It worked like gold and I fell in love with them too! *laughs* So I use them when Littles space needing sleep. But I listen to the albums of them from Apple Music. Tried to find an example of one online. Or I like to watch comfort shows I know backwards and forwards like My Little Pony or Sailor Moon. I put the screen to dark, and close my eyes so I’m just listening to it. And because I already know what happens my mind can follow along relaxed without getting too excited or needing to see what happens like with a new show.
