What am I?

Hi All, 

So, I'm new and trying to learn more about this dynamic. I only recently discovered that this was what I have enjoyed my entire life, Daddy Domination, etc., but never had a partner willing to explore it with. After being single for about a year, I decided that I would start dating again in May 2025, but wanted to center on this. I found Fetlife and discovered what "it" was, and have been learning since June. 

That said, I don't know how to label myself. I love the DD aspect of the dynamic, but I don't really regress into minor ages (not that there is anything wrong with it, it's just not me.) My play partners have called me Princess, Babygirl, little one, good girl, and I am good with those labels, but I don't want to have to keep explaining that I'm not technically a little, and I want to use the appropriate terms as well.  

So, what am I??? If there's any regression, it's into like a 20s age range, but even that is still an adult. Is that what a big is or am I simply a submissive?

Being a submissive is still part of the DDLG lifestyle. I am more of submissive than I am a little girl and I absolutely love calling my owner/Dom Daddy. It's something that has brought us closer together, my age range varies, one day I will feel like I'm a ten year old trying to steal cookies, then the next I might feel as if I'm sixteen and dress up super cute, the next I could want to be my submissive nature and always please my daddy. 

Being part of this lifestyle doesn't have to be strictly one age regression group or category. It's so much more than that and honestly it's so beautiful.

Age Regression isn't a requirement to be a Little and being a Little isn't required to participate in DDLG.

DDLG is an umbrella term that covers a wide range of dynamic possibilities. Come as you are, do as you will sorta thing. LGs can absolutely be more mature and grown up, it's just not as commonly talked about as Littlespace, Regression, or Ageplay.

The best thing to do, IMHO, is just not list an age range the way regressors or dreamers do. Put that appropriate information on all profiles you use. If someone asks, you'll know they didn't bother reading your bio and aren't worth your time.

A Big is someone who doesn't consider themselves Smol/LG within DDLG dynamics/settings. But I imagine that Submissives without a Little headspace could utilize the term too.

Have you done much research into middles. It's not as common but there is slowly more information and more people identifying as such. More validation I suppose.

I don't regress either. Personally it's a more relaxed, indulgent, fun start of mind. I also am a sucker for all the nicknames. 

Personally, I'm not a big fan of labels myself, especially when someone is just learning. It can feel limiting and restrictive and not as inclusive or welcoming   However, I was rather unceremoniously shot down on that idea. If labels and verbage are what you need I'd suggest looking into middles and their subcategories. Knowing full well if you're healthy, consenting and not hurting yourself or others, none of the rest really matters. Be well and happy.
