Tendillo Posted Friday at 07:43 PM Report Posted Friday at 07:43 PM That's what being out in nature always gives me, away from that square life between all of those square lines. The sense of time no longer seeming to matter, or even exist, as I fall into the rhythm of the earth, beneath the sun, moon and stars. The joy of hearing the wind in the trees, the leaves swaying and swishing like waves upon the shore, and seeing, actually noticing, those small things, like a plant or an insect, even though they pay us no heed. Yes, it's a disconnection and a reconnection with my animal spirits and a reminder of our insignificance, yet also how important we are to the world and the universe. I'm lucky to be able to look out from my window and see trees, flowers, fields, but spectating and immersion are worlds apart. 1
