Crafts! Crafts! Crafts!

This is my first post so excuse me if it's not up to standards. x-x

 

I am a major crafter! I have urges to just create!

 

I crochet dolls and pillows!

I draw and paint!

I even sculpt clay!

 

I'm starting bigger projects even attempting to build a desk x-x. Does anyone else get these intense crafting urges? What have you made. I like new ideas

Awesome!  I especially like the HP xbox controller =).  I get urges to craft all the time, but unfortunately my hands are kind of a wreck so its really hard for me to do on a regular basis...

I get urges to craft all the time- but money is an issue. Do you have any tips for crafting on a budget? I love using colored pencils, and painting too! Painting has probably been something I've been dying to do lately.

I do!! My favorite thing to do is go to michaels because they always have a "as is" section. Which is the cheapest way to find the best stuff! I got a pair of 2 big amazing picture frames because one didn't have glass for only 5 dollars! I even got a pack of 3 black canvases(what I used for the Harley quinn) for 1.50 because the plastic wrapping was ripped.

 

Also remember that gas stations also have a "home" section and dollar stores where glue, pencils, paper etc are really cheap.

 

I also like to visit flea markets for any ideas.

 

Cardboard is amazing though! I use it as a canvas, I make organizers, or anything! You gotta think outside the box :3. You can walk to any store, publix, target, walmart, and just ask if they have left over boxes. They'll give you one or two. (if you go to Wal-Mart make sure to say NOT banana boxes, they have holes in them so not a very good canvas... Unless you want it lol)

 

For online shopping Wish, Etsy, EBay and Amazon are really good. Wish you can buy tools, crafts pretty much anything for dirt cheap. The only downside is you have to wait a month to recieve it. Amazon is a personal favorite because they sometimes bundle several items together for less.

Aaaa, I love crafting! I've been lacking the energy to work on much lately, but seeing what other people are doing is a great motivator. ovo

I really like the crocheted things you made, i've been wanting to get into doing that lately! I love that little Stitches, he's one of my biggest Animal Crossing faves!! >w< I used to play around and make crochet chains when I was younger but nothing like making dolls, is it very hard to learn?

 

I also appreciate the low-budget tips, those are super helpful. ^.~ Michaels is such a cool store, I really wanna go more often, but the last time I did I got intimidated 'cause it's just sooo big XD Too much neat stuff!!

My crochet was all self taught. I learned by youtube tutorials and it's honestly very simple . If you want some tips just let me know ^^
