I'm new to pet play I have a pup named Xena and I want to make sure I am doing everything right as a owner. They are a sweet puppy.

Also don't lock yourself into one kind of pet, even at the same time! Especially while you're still exploring the scene it can be good to try playing as different kinds of pets, or even mixing different parts together (for example you may be doing a scene mostly as a kitty but add in some fetch for some more active parts of play. One of the best parts of kink (especially imaginative kinks like petplay) is the ability to really make them your own, or adapt them for whatever your current situation might be. Boxing yourself in is only really helpful when you don't have ideas for a specific scene but you want to do something more than collared snuggles lol.

I think kinda like anything else in the lifestyle, you'll probably find it through a mix of self-reflection and some research! :3 For example, the most common pet types are Bunny, Kitty, and Puppy. Many Bunnies gravitate towards bratty, stubborn, mischievous. Many Kitties are naughty as well, but some have a sweeter exterior. Many Puppies are very submissive and sweet. Knowing that information may help you find what sort of headspace you want to achieve. That's the goal - what feelings do you want to evoke? What imagery, toys, accessories, titles, play styles and so forth help you (and/or partner) get that result? But don't let the typical steer you! I am a non-bratty, Princessy, service sub Kitty. Some Puppies are feral and naughty. Playing around with it makes it fun and the most YOU it can be! And you can be ANY sort of pet - fox, raccoon, panda, axolotl, bat, wolf, dragon, sheep, cow, mermaid, dinosaur, catdog, mer-fox - the only limit is your imagination! Finding gear to go with more uncommon pet styles may be harder but don't let that deter you. Get creative, research, and make it yourself if you can! Soooo much of this community has made some of the coolest gear ever that started as a person with hot glue and a dream haha. And while this is admittedly not my area of expertise, but D-types can be pets too! Again, research, and safely play around. I love Evie Lupine on Youtube as my go to for research, especially since she's a pet, but to each their own. There are also tons of online quizzes for what kind of pet or animal you are, some might just not be under a petplay label haha. There's also a whole bunch of communities who are non-petplayers that have their own animal versions of themselves - like furries and so forth! I wish you the best of luck!! 💗

Hi! I'm a bunny! I have lop ears and I'm very fluffy!

I like the ears on the headbands. I have tried clip in ears but they dont stay for me. I have multiple sets, all different colors to wear depending on my mood. I have grey, white, black, pink, rainbow, and probably some I am forgetting.

Still navigating this site not sure how to add pics but I have a black pair of kitty ears with white and pink insides my hair is black so it blends perfect I also have brown puppy ears but they r very oddly shaped I can’t seem to make them work so I’m thinking of finding a better pair on Etsy instead and im trying to find sum cute bunny ones!!!

Now hear me out. I love an obedient girl who nods and wags her tail as she should, doing as you command when prompted. Butttttt I also love any opportunity to put a bad girl in their places and enjoy every second of it 🤣

Honestly in my opinion tails are so goooood. But I must say leashes are just a bit better. Love the control it gives 😁

That's supa cool! I. Had a butt tail, but I left it at my previous Daddy Dom's place in UK and I didn't use it much as it came get dirty easily 🥺 and I'm a little shy about showing that side of myself to people. Can I ask where you got your tail?

I've had. A few sad Velcro elastic band tails. But my fav tail I own is a big fluffy butt plug fox tail. I love it Soooo much

All the ears I own I dnt really like. I really want a pair of those headband ones that move around and stuff!!! They are sooo cute

When I was in high school me and my friend bought collars and leashes and would walk each other around the halls...... I also used to wear a dog choke collar with an old cain cat leash attached that in turned attached to chains I had around my wrists. I'd just be walking down the hall and random people would grab my leash and pull me along with them for a bit (may have made me late to calls a few times, lol) and this was all way b4 I knew anything about bdsm or ddlg or petplay or anything like that. I was so super innocent but already outwardly showing things I was into. Little did I know how much I would be into those things as I got older, lol.
