  1. What's new in this club
  2. You had an amazing summer. I love all the things you got to do with your kids and with your daddy. You kicked this lists butt.
  3. Well done @RoseyLittle I loved the photo of your cool bicycle and also that really great cloudy sky picture at the end, which is just my cup of tea 🍵
  4. wow it's amazing all the quests you've completed!!! I'm impressed. I really like the sand castles

    Check In

@BabyPoppy, you're so sweet! I'm gonna probably step back for a bit...As much as I want to do things, I don't have the time or the bandwidth. I'll be here to cheer everyone on as much as possible!
  7. Hmm I have no idea lol! I loose time when I do them, but yeah I think I sat and just created for a while
  8. It looks like you had a fun summer!!! I love your sand castle!!! It's so well planned!!! Did it take a lot time to build?
  9. lol I feel you. I don’t tan much either.
  10. Huzzah, thank you! Yeah lol, I only have two colours in summer, ghost white or tomatoe red. I don’t tan at all. But I can get the illusion of colour by just being covered in so many freckles 🤣
  11. You’ve got the badges:) heck of a sunburn I that one pic hehe
  12. Absolutely
  13. I completed my Summer Challenge - phew what a busy summer! This season challenge was made a bit easier because I have tiny humans that need entertaining so we do so much of these things anyway, it wasn't as hard to find time for it in my busy life. But it was special getting to do some with Daddy! For Daddy's and my second trip, I surprised him with a special RV we could camp and explore from. So with Daddy I was able to complete: 1. Going to an overnighter (Mr. Top came too!). 2. Dancing with someone special (don't have a photo). 3. Cooking over a campfire. 4. Making S'mores. 5. Going to a beach, cleaning up after dinner (Daddy made me delicious meals while I played and then I helped by cleaning up). 6. Wearing sunscreen. Lots of lots of sunscreen for my ghost white self. I never would have achieved the wearing sunscreen achievement without Daddy, as left to my own devices I never remember and then burn (posted photo for evidence 😆). I also had it in my head there was a 'make a sandcastle' one...but there wasn't! It's okay though since it is one of my favourite things to do, and I never get to do it anymore when I go the beach with my kiddos. So Daddy was determined I get some castle making time and even made one too (we decided they can be trade neighbors and built a road connecting them). Lastly, Daddy rescued me when our Canada fireworks were rained out, and he shared his 4th of July ones with me so I could watch fireworks still! So I completed: 7. Watch fireworks. I always plan a lot of summer activities with my girls, and we have traditions as a family (like 'Baba's rainbow festival' as my 3 year old calls it). Plus I always plan a nice family summer vacation for us. This was the first one since my husband and I separated in January. There have been lots of hard parts of still living together and cohabitating (especially with realizing the depth of betrayal that had been in my relationship). It's not easy to be right next to the person who exploded my whole world. It might sound silly, but having this little chart to follow and tick off, build experiences around with my girls, it made the vacation easier. It gave me something to focus on and was lots of fun! So the girls and I managed to complete: 8. Going swimming - we went in wave pools, beaches, water slides, even an AWESOME foam bubble pool! 9. Eat ice cream. We cooled down with lots of different sweet treats and ice-creams - but our favourite was these little hiboux! Our camping weekend with the cousins got rained out and cancelled, so I got creative and set up indoor camping as best I could with hike and sing-a-long and sleeping bags. So I was still able to complete: 10. Identify a tree - On our hike we also practiced identifying trees, we were best at birch trees (the picture of our woods we hiked in is further down). 11. Have a sing-a-long - we sang all kinds of camp songs around our "fire" and made S'mores in the oven! The girls especially loved 'Poor little bug on the wall' and I taught them their first round and we did 'Fires burning, draw nearer'. 12. Sleep in a sleeping bag (I don't have a picture of that one since my girls were in all of them). 13. Have fun with glow sticks (I don't have a picture of that one since my girls were in all of them). Throughout the summer I worked on the list with my girls and we managed to complete: 14. and 15. - Go to a street fair and go to a concert. We went to West Side Pride and enjoyed the huge vendor fair, activities and especially the drag show. 16. Wear flip flops - I spend all summer in bare feet, but throw on flip flops or sandals for out and about at places that make you wear shoes. 😆 17. Donate school supplies - we always have fun getting ready for back to school/daycare and picked out some supplies to donate according to the class list. 18. Play hop scotch - Spent a morning teaching my littles one, who is 3, how to play hop scotch using the acorns that always drop out of our tree. We had such a blast! 19. Make a chalk sidewalk picture - the girls and I spend all summer constantly drawing oustide (in winter we turn it to snow painting) 20. Go on a bike ride - we went on lots of bike/scooter rides round the neighborhood 21. Learn about bugs - Daddy showed me a cool dragonfly at the beach, and the girls and I had the luck to watch a cicada as they molt! 22. Water plants - We have lots of plants in our house but Baba has the most in her area of our house, so we always help her water her plants for her 23. Read three books. I read lots of books with Daddy, book club book, books with the girls and books just for me this summer! (I don't have a picture for it though). @DaddyRaven would you be able to sign off on my seasonal challenge for summer?
  14. Way to go @BabyPoppy! I love your sidewalk chalk picture and your smile with your ice cream is just precious! 💗

  23. I had so much fun with this months back to school badge, I love this season for back to school vibes! This is my favorite back to school outfit, and my bag. 💼 I also made an about me page for school. And for my craft I did a coloring page, a decoden phone case and beaded sus (or a “name tag” if you will) to match! Ready to clip it onto my outfit! ♥️ My phone case and sus has lots of cute discipline references. 🤭 @DaddyRaven can you check my work and approve the badge if okay?
