@JujuI think this is going to be the first month I don’t get anything done. I haven’t even really started and everytime I try I just lose interest in 5 minutes (that’s with everything though not just this).

I personally like that at the moment, it’s open and all activities are open to everyone regardless of if they are little or middle.. but I can also see an appeal to it being more this is little activities and this is middle activities.

Hi! It's me! Glowy-worm Juju! I've been thinking about maybe having two levels of the GWG, one level for little's and one for middles. If you you are a little and middle, then you could choose whichever level you want to do or even both. Tasks would be more age appropriate. Just starting this. I do not have pictures of everything, but will load what I can when I can 1. Watch Fireworks - No picture, but my neighbors start firing them off middle of June. I saw them from my back yard 2. I made Smores at a camp out with my nephews. No pictures as they all had kids in them. 3. Read three books: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Crecent City House of Earth and Blood, How the Necromancer in the Gold Vest Saved my Life, and several more. 4. Wear Flip Flops- Like every day and I just got my nails done. 5. Eat Ice Cream - I do this all the time. I love ice cream its the bestest. I had Snickers Ice Cream Bars, Blackberry cheese cake, dark chocolate, and all the flavors. 6. I have a ton of plants. The one in my window is a mess and takes a lot of water. It gets watered weekly. - **Post pic later** 7. I cleaned out my linen closet and donated the blankets, towels, and sheets I no longer needed to the SPCA, and both city and county shelters. I also was able to provide a rescue with exercise pins for their babies. 8. Clean Up after dinner. I live alone so the dishes only get done if I do them. 9. Wear Sunscreen. I am super fair skinned so I wear sunscreen everyday in my makeup and extra on days out at the zoo or trips. 10. I am so excited I had an arborist at the house to look at trees, and he told me I had pecans, bitter walnuts (not edible), wild plums, and even a chestnut tree. I was so excited as I had not idea. 11. Help a Friend. I was able to help a friends who runs a rescue by providing meds for some of her clients. 12 and 13. Dance with someone Special and Have a sing along. I love to turn on the music and sing with my grandson. We sing and dance and laugh. Its the best. More to come.

I have one more item for the months badge. I will get the picture once I go on my trip. I finished the summer Solstice badge and am almost done with the world ocean day. This month has been so fun. Thank you for all you do to set this up.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say howdy and check in to see how everyone is doing on their badges this month. Have any of you been able to do any of the "Just for Fun" badges? I think i need to get more up. Don't forget to go to the "BADGE RECORDS" section and put in the info for your badges that have been signed off. Southern Hemisphere GWG , everything okay on your end? Is there anything I've forgotten to do? I check in as often as I can get in. So hang in there! It'll eventually straighten up and getting in won't be that big of a problem. Any questions you may have are welcome as always, and I'll answer as soon as I can. Virtual meeting is the 27th. Be sure to try and be there if you can. For this one I am doing: Popsicles- I made Popsicles or Ice pops out of the extra peaches from my fruit tree. As you can see I have a bunch. I use them for smoothies as well as just to snack on. Glass painting - I got milk bottles to paint to hold my lego flowers. Beach day - this will be on my trip coming up.

Hi @beanbean, @DaddyRaven, @Very Proud and Happy Daddy & @Tendillo, Would one of you be able to be my leader for this month? I will be trying to do all three badges so I’m happy to have multiple leaders if someone doesn’t want to do all 3. Below are the activities I plan (or hope) to do for each badge No Bummer Summer Badge Make a UV reactive bracelet - I hope to be able to do this, it will just depend if I can get the beads (🤞🏻) Visit a local park and take pictures of five - this should be doable as we are still having some nice days, but winter is definitely coming! Make an origami bouquet - this one I will definitely be doing Glass painting - if I can get the jars I’ll do this I’ve painted jars before and it’s so fun!! Visit your nearest beach - similar to the park I hope to be able to do this Go stargazing - I will definitely be doing this one.. my car has a sunroof so even if I have to sit in my car I can do this. Ocean day - I will be doing all of these Choose your favourite marine animal and write a paragraph about it Colour a picture of your favourite marine creature Make a paper Jelly fish Ocean themed word search - is it obvious I like word searches? Winter solstice Board game night (🤞🏻) - I am just waiting for juju to approve this one. I will only do this if it’s approved. Colour a picture of winter - I will be doing this one Make paper snowflakes - I will be doing this one Make a paper lantern - I will be doing this one

@Jujuwould it be ok if I stole the board game activity form the Summer Solstice badge and did that as one of my activities, I love boardgames so much and I try to make people play them whenever I can

@Juju @beanbean Here are the three items for this badge. - Favorite Animal Paragraph - Sea Turtles Sea Turtles are a majestic endangered animal. There are seven species: Flatback, Green, Hawksbill, Leatherback, Loggerhead, Kemp's ridley, and Olive ridley. Of the 7 species only two are not considered endangered. Turtles live in all oceans except the polar regions, but are mostly located over continental shelves. They mostly live in seaweed mats. They do travel to beaches to lay eggs. Most turtles will only lay eggs on the same beach they were born on. These eggs are called clutches and in one season a female can lay up to 8 clutches. The gender of turtles is based on the temperature of the nest. Each type of turtle eats different items. Most are omnivours, but some like the Leatherback prefer Jelly fish. The Green Turtles become herbivours as they age. The turtles help keep sea grass down and allow for the space for other animals to breed. - color picture of sea turtles - Sea Shell Craft - I had a ton of shells in a cup from years of collecting, and now they are a pretty set up. I hope this counts.
