Having troubles getting into littlespace..

For the past few months, I've been having the hardest time getting into littlespace. It's been severely influencing my mental health and I really, really need to regress soon..


 


So, I guess what I'm getting at is that I super duper need help. If you have any tips, ideas, activities, things my Papa could do.. literally anything- no matter how silly or small it may seem, because I'm honestly desperate!!!!!

To be honest with you, I go through this situation fairly regularly as I am also quite fragile with my Littlespace. Every few months or so.

 

What I do is just not think about my lack of littlespace and worrying if it will come back to me. Your littlespace belongs to you, I guarantee it will come back to you. It'd help if you listed some of the things you like to do in your Littlespace or even just regression pleasures. It's entirely based on what you like to do but the BIGGEST thing to remember is IT WILL RETURN. I know it's easy to get discouraged and let the nasty thoughts tell you that it'll never come back, but it will. If you want you could use skin safe markers and write "My Littlespace will come back, don't stress" on your forearm or hand, whereever you'd like on your body that will not effect your everyday life (if you work clearly you won't be able to write that on your hand lol)

Don't force yourself into wanting to be Little again. I understand how badly you want it back, but you have to take it slow. Deep breathes and do very small little things (i.e baby voice, cuddling stuffies, playing with stickers or finger painting, colouring in colouring books, bubble baths with little floaty toys, playing dress up with Papa, build a pillow fort and watch Studio Ghibli or Disney movies or old school cartoons from the early 2000's. for me personally, i love Sofia the First. but then again, that's just my little things, you could give them a try and see how they suit you but try to apply little things you like to do. Dino chicken nuggets sound so good right now haha.) BUT ANYWAYS... please don't let it consume your mind, deep breaths and let things come naturally. It won't take long hehe. Every little goes through little-drouts. If you are really craving some sort of emotional support to help build your courage or remind yourself you're not alone, look up Binky Princess on youtube and find her video about 'Little Drouts'.

Hello Papasprincettwjynx,

 

What did he used to do that would put you into little space? What did you used to do? If those things do not work anymore you can try a few others like;

1. Have him read you a bedtime story (doesn't have to be at night)

2. Have him sing you a lullaby

3. Have your coloring books out and do a show and tell (ask which colors to use or just go for it and share)

4. If you live together, cook or bake together and you do the simple things to help 

5. If you like bath time, this could help you regress as well

6. Watch a Disney movie together, use your paci, snuggle up!

 

The list honestly goes on and on but don't think too hard and just let go. For me, it's the sound of my Daddy's voice. That alone can take me into my little space alongside the list here.

Thank you both!!! This really helped a lot! I'm definitely going to try and relax a little bit and just do some of my normal little things and try not to force it.

 

I also decided to make a little journal, and maybe that'll help! So I can figure out what's going on when this happens, and how to get myself unstuck!

 

Also, I loooove Binkie Princess! I didnt realize she had a video about this omg!! I'm gonna go find it~
