Trigger warning; mentions of abuse and abusive relations

  Hi guys, just so you know the below paragraphs is something I wrote, I do not advise that anyone who may get triggered by mentions of abuse/abusive relationships read this- I would like advice from anyone who also writes stories on how to make it better/improve as I do it alot. This is one I have wrote just today! Its only a small clip.

 

 

 She was still in shock, she felt like she had the weight of a hundred tonnes on her, she was frozen in a stance. Her body felt numb, it wouldn't respond, all she wanted to do was make flight. As the feeling retuned, at a snails pace, to her body, she realised her face really stung. The guy who had promised not to lay a finger on her, the guy who had so many promises- all empty and invalid now. She felt a tingly cool sensation down her tomato coloured cheek, she couldn't stop the silver, bullet like tears that streamed down her face. All she could do at that moment was say in no more then a hushed whisper "why" to this boy whom she had given her all to, every last bit of her soul and heart into a relationship. It all seemed baseless, it had no meaning, why did he land a single blow on her? Had it seriously gotten to this point?

  Her head was all over the place, she had a one track mind. She clumsily ran away from the man who she thought was her everything, falling and tripping over nothing- just trying to get away. Her tears just kept spilling out, brimming over her velvety, ghostly white skin. Blue ocean eyes, felt heavy, and sore showing pain from a thousand stories hidden behind a smile, it had all come crashing down now. Body, uncoordinated, and feeling unwieldy the more she struggled to get away. Why had he done such a thing, did she do something wrong? Did she say something out of place? Her muddled brain couldn't get a handle on such things.
