Anyone interested in learning/teaching/exchanging languages?

Hi, I took 1 year course of Japanese and I'm looking for friends who are bilingual who can share their language with me. I am not fluent, but I have a lot of the coursework printed and I have some resources. You will be able to form sentences, read anything in hiragana and katakana, and will know some kanji. You will also know how to write and type in that language. I'm open to any language you can teach me; knowing as much as possible is on my bucket list. If you know more Japanese than I do, please be my mentor, that would be amazing, however I have nothing to give in return unfortunately  ^_^ If you just speak English, but want coursework and help, it's free. Sorry if Japanese isn't what you're looking for, but we can just talk. That's cool too.

Guest You're adorable.

Hi,

I am a self-learner of Japanese. I have been poking around the language for like 10 years now, but was either too busy or not motivated enough to take it really seriously. It may have been largely due to the fact that there was nobody around to share it with. I would be very interested to step up my Japanese.

I can read hiragana and katakana more or less fluently, and i know some (around 250) kanji. But my speaking ability is very limited. You can say i am a passive speaker.

In return, I can help you with pretty much any slavic language that you may want to learn, since all of them are familiar (Russian, Polish, Czech, etc.) I hope i will be hearing from you :D

I love this idea! I love learning languages, I speak both Portuguese and Spanish natively, I took a small German course last summer and I have a basic knowledge of French that I learned in school, anyway, we could share some things!

I will send you a request. I have google classroom set up where we can share content and make quizzes for each other. I would be interested in Spanish.

I really want to learn more Gaelic (Irish or Scottish versions) and French. Also Italian. I have a little bit of German and Spanish, and of course English.

I would love to learn more French! I only speak English but I do know a bit of French and am trying slowly to get better (only started a few months ago, and it's been a busy few months so not a lot of free time to spend learning).

After learning French I plan to move onto Spanish, and then Russian.

Afterwards I might start Dutch (just think it sounds cute), Japanese, and/or Portuguese.

If anyone wants to practice their French, I can be your French buddy! I’m fluent after 16 years of French education.

I also speak Ukrainian (as my friend put it, country Russian that became its own language....), and German. Though I learned German from the Bavarian side of my family, so when I talk it’s full of southern turns of phrase.

I’m working on Mandarin because I’m going to China in a few months!
