LittlekittenDiamond
Have you ever been surrounded by multiple people but still some how feel alone. I have been feeling like this a lot lately. I’m starting to feel like I’m all alone, like I’m drowning and their is no one there to pull me up. Have anyone else ever experienced this? And if so how did you make it better. How did you deal with it??

mr.daddyd0m
Kinda. It's sorta how my marriage ended up. We were just 2 people sharing a house and not a whole lot more. Because of her (not directly, her mental health was her demon) I lost evey friendship I had, and then it wore down our relationship. Maybe - and I know this is easier said than done, especially if you struggle socially - you need to try and meet some new people, and make some new/more-attentive friends? On the flipside though, have you spoken to the people around you like this. If they care about you, they will appreciate the honesty and the courage it's taken you to reach out to them. If they take it personally, well, then that's not the right attitude at all.. Hope you feel better soon..!
Guest CollateralBeauty
You're not alone in feeling like this. I've felt like that on multiple occasions myself. I agree with what mr.daddyd0m that you should try reaching out to those around you. Let them know how you're really feeling and don't lie to them about it. It's okay to not be happy 100% of the time and it is good to talk about your feelings. Something else that I do when I start feeling like that is just doing something that I like to do. It takes my mind away from those feelings and allows me to focus on something else.

Guest Ivantyaskullz
Yes,I have felt like that often.. my option is not for everyone..I decided it was better for me to ACTUALLY be alone than to be surrounded by people and feel so utterly lost and alone.. so I just recently decided to move away from all the toxic and noncaring people in my life. I have to admit I feel alot less overwhellmingly alone.. But in all honesty..THE BEST AND NONINSANE/LESS DRASTIC approach..maybe try and reflect on what the issue may actually be..is it that people around you are less than caring and present in your life all while being physically there...or is it stemming from depression? Mine was both..I decided to fix one thing that helped a heap ton!! But maybe open up to the people around you and tell them how they can make you feel less alone../make you feel more like a choice and not an obligation or piece of useless furniture.... If you're depressed..maybe try and talk to someone about it(if you can..) if not try as hard as you can to just surround yourself with things that make you feel loved(as weird as that sounds) your fave music,tv Show, your stuffed animals, real animals, anyone and anything that usually makes you feel joy.. I hope this helps .and just isn't nonsensical ramblings..hahaha But always remember this Hun .You are NEVER TRULY ALONE.AND IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO I WILL LISTEN AND AM HERE..even though you don't know me.hehe
