How do I fix my Giphy signature?

It currently just appears as a link, as you'll see when I write this post.

Hmm.. For my signature I upload to imgur and right click the picture and press "Open image in new tab" then copy the link from there and press "Image" and paste the link there. 

How did you go about making your signature? I'm not a pro at this and really I'm a noob at forums so if I'm no help, maybe someone else will be.

The only experience I have is minimal at best. As for the text, just type it out highlight and then select the color.

You can right click an image (jpg, gif, png etc) and select either “Copy Image Link” or “Copy Image Source” to get the direct img link.

If you’re on ipad, hold your finger on the image.

A popup asking to “Save Image” or “Copy”-> choose ‘Copy’

 

In the section for your signature via Edit Profile-> Signature

Put the code [ IMG ] direct image link [ /IMG ] without the spaces.

 

Sometimes Giphy is really sly though, which may be the problem you’re encountering.

They seem to try to prevent people from having access to direct image links.

I’m on iPad atm which is a real ball ache to do basic code like copying image links etc.
