Ever been in love before?

I wrote this poem because I know that some of us (maybe many of us) have went through tough times when being in love with someone. I hope this poem won't cause any problems, but if it does, I will simply delete this. I hope you all found/find the right person for you. And don't give up. 

 

Have you ever been in love before?

The both of you match so well

But when you call their number

It goes straight to voice mail.

 

Have you ever been in love before?

You tell them how you feel

You hope they say the same thing

But instead, their words start to kill.

 

Have you ever been in love before?

The relationship turns into a chore

You were all happy and laughing at first

Then the relationship hits the floor.

 

Have you ever been in love before?

Thinking about the person you love in bed

You text them a good morning

2 hours later they left you on read.

 

Have you ever been in love before?

You thought you met the one

But up out of nowhere

They tell you that they're done.

 

When you love someone

You give them your all

But when your heart is broken

You feel that everything starts to fall.

 

We all fall in love

But it won't always work out

You all will find love

That is without a doubt

 

I hope the right person finds you

So that everything you wished for

Will come true.

I've felt this before, I actually heard a few songs I could equally relate to that dropped me to my knees bawling my eyes out.  This is really good, I am not one for poems or poetry but I really like this, thank you for sharing. It feels good to be able to relate.
