curcy299 Posted August 30, 2018 Report Posted August 30, 2018 So i kinda have a problem, i don't have a daddy but i can be put into little spaces very easily and sometimes without warning over things i don't even understand sometimes. When i'm in little space i like to play and fidget and mess with anything I can get my hands on. I also need a lot more attention when I'm a little and will do a lot to get it and my brain has little common sense when im like that. Does anybody know of a way to get your self out of little space by your self? Its becoming more and more of a problem. 1
Koala Posted August 30, 2018 Report Posted August 30, 2018 Hey! It used to happen to me sometimes too, it can be frustrating, especially when you have to be your Big self. I try to force my mind to boring adult topics: taxes, politics, garbage day, whatever. Anything that has to do with my responsibilities. With that, it helps a lot to actually be willing to face those responsibilities, which is a problem because littlespace can sometimes be a reaction to them. So, short term: think of responsibilities. Long term: find ways to face them better and get attention as Big you. That's what I'm working on anyways! 1
SleeplessInLittlespace Posted August 31, 2018 Report Posted August 31, 2018 Now that my CG is gone, I'm having to deal with exactly this on a daily basis. What I do is make a list of things I have to do the next day before I go to bed every night. I do my best to do everything on the list and to make sure I don't put things on there that I'm not sure I won't get done, that way I don't feel bad if I can't do them all. This keeps me focused a bit, even when my little side takes over. It's not as easy to stay on task without my CG, but lists help me for whatever reason. This is kinda silly too, but since i like horror and true crime and whatnot.. sometimes if I'm not wanting to feel little I'll watch like murder trials or scary movies, things that make me think and look at the thoughtfully. Cerebral things to keep my adult mind busy. <3

I just turned 18 a couple months ago so people who are in college just look at me differently the second i go into a little space, its like they know and are judging me for it or want me to act my own age. Even if its an okay time to be messing around. So make lists and focus on responsibilities, got it . Thank you Edited August 31, 2018 by curcy299
