OceanPaintr
Let's suppose I wanted to make a pink bubble bath. For a friend, of course. How would I do that? I'm thinking pour in a ton of Mr Bubble and a few drops of red food coloring. But I'm worried about toxicity and staining the tub. Is this safe or is there a better way? Guest QueenJellybean
hi! the best way to do this would be to get a pink bath bomb. you can get them at LUSH, or any other store where they are sold. check out etsy if you want to find one with the color you want! another way to do this could be using mr. bubble & grabbing some of the crayola bath melts. they come in variety of colors & they usually have a little menu on the back that will tell you how to get the pigment you want. they are made for the bath & won't stain. Guest Bunnyblossom
Strawberry milk bath! Pour some milk in that bad boy(about a 1-2cup), few drops strawberry essence (oil), 1Tbsp Red food dye 1Tbsp bicarbonate soda/baking soda, 1/4 cup salt, 1/4 corn starch Mix dry ingredients together first, then add to bath as it’s filling. Then the milk & strawberry essence. Or scrap the dry stuff and just do milk, essence & food dye. Otherwise some red food dye & bubble bath will do fine. It shouldn’t stain, so long as it’s not more than 1-2Tbsp max. <- from experience.
OceanPaintr
I like these ideas! Safe for little?
Guest Bunnyblossom
I like these ideas! Safe for little? I believe so. I mean, I wouldn’t be putting bath water in my mouth to begin with since it’s basically self-soup, so would encourage against that- otherwise it’s considerably non-toxic diluted with enough water for a bath. Warning, possibly tmi: If it’s a common ocurrence then I’d switch up bath bombs, bubble fluid & dye, and the strawberry milk bath with one another occasionally. Because different soaps (esp bath bombs) overused in the bath can cause trouble for ladyparts by disrupting the natural pH balance.
Guest Dulci
The thought of bathing in milk / food dye gives me the shivers (perfectly awesome if you enjoy it and it works for you!) But I'd also recommend Lush; or any bath bomb company honestly !

LittleCelticLass
Believe it or not, Lush and other makers of bath products actually use food dye to get the colors they use. I make bath products, and I recommend getting food dye from a natural food store for this type of use.
MadelynVictoria
If you just want a pink color, they have these colored bath fizzies at Walmart that you drop in your bath to change the color. Or I recommend a bath bomb, which you can also find at your local Walmart
Guest Arc
You could also just look for a brand of bubble bath that's pink? I had ones that were all different colours as a kid so you must be able to buy it somewhere.
