bunny_boy
My princess very much enjoys Halloween and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to celebrate it together? We are LDR and we were thinking of watching some movies on rabb.it as well as possibly having matching costumes to her liking. Anything will help! Guest QueenJellybean
i am also a huge halloween fan, so hopefully, i can be of some help here! definitely watch some spooky movies together on rabbit. i'd suggest if she's into bath stuff, order her a bath bomb that's spooky-themed! you can get them on LUSH's website, or even on etsy. onesiesdownunder, among other onesie-carriers, have spooky onesies, too! maybe have your little invest in one, or get one for her! build-a-bear workshop also comes out with seasonal, halloween stuffed animals, too! the biggest thing, though, for me is the trick-or-treat bag. since you're long distance, just send a box. decorate it with stickers, halloween colors, etc. & fill it to the BRIM with halloween candy! don't let her open it until halloween night, in costume of course! bonus points if you're on camera together when it happens. i know i'd be a happy babe if a long-distance love did that for me!
Tinka
hmmm in Czech republic where i am , we dont celebrate halloween, but he and i celebrate it in our home. we prepare halloween themed crafts, foods and drinks. We buy various halloween costume parts, and we decide how to dress and paint each other for example last year i had skeleton hands, vampire fangs, witch hat and devil cape while he had werewolf gloves, murderer mask, Viking axes etc. After we prepare each other, we have a dinner, and then we eat sweets and watch a thriller. Other games we can play is to make a scary story together, or little theatrical shows in a cam for future embarrassment. And we can draw spooky cards for each other. PS : And since i am blind and didn`t see the LDR, i apologize and let the post of mine exist for couples who are together for you , i can suggest this game 1) Open cam 2)have some spooky funny make up painting desings invented and write them in little paper pieces 3) put a number on the other side of each piece and put them in a bowl. 4)you can let her tell you what number she wants, you will open the paper and read what kind of spooky make up part she ll do, for example bloody lips, spider on cheek, fake eye on her eyes etc. And as she will paint herself according to the instructions of the piece of paper that she picked, you will tell her a scary story . Guest Arc
Halloween isn't really a thing where I'm from but you could maybe carve pumpkins together or tell scary stories over skype? Or just any halloween craft together - I'm sure pinterest has thousands to choose from lol. I love Jelly's idea of a decorated treat box. ^^
Guest Bunnyblossom
Halloween themed stickers, toys and decorations are a good Treat Bag/Box filler as an alternative to candy as well. ^-^ Idk what your Little likes, but there’s a lot of cute halloween themed makeup around this time of year also. That could be an option as well. I really like the matching LDR costume idea, it sounds vurry cute. ^^ Maybe she could put some kind of costume on her favourite plushy? I use bb clothes to dress mine up :3 lol Especially for spoopy movies, she may want a plushy with her. Maybe you can do halloween spoopy paper chains over skype to show each other the end results? E.g. of different patterns: http://vrya.net/content.php?p=43 (SFW) http://vrya.net/domain/images/img43_m.jpg
Smitten Kitten
If in the USA Dollar stores or retail outlets usually have candy. Don't just grab a bunch of stuff to fill a box, but think it out. Does she have a favorite Halloween theme? Characters she likes. Set up a net flix movie watch night, skype her ( or do in person) doing halloween colr prints out with you, so she can show you how good shes doing. ( if this is her thing) Halloween dollar store crafts. carve or paint pumpkins ( I used to decorate pumpkin pop tarts and cookie instead ) Amazon has plenty of Halloween Care Package's Coloring books and have a moment of just coloring in and out of the lines. Story time, you can tell her ghost stories, not too scary ( surprise her if she does get to scared she can open up a care box, with a new plushie with your scent on it) have her play dress up and show off for you. If you can and in person with her, create a make shift trick or treat options where you can have her dress up and have her plushies around the house hand out her candy. Gesh, I can think of so many ideas to have moments long distance and in person, Im not sure I like creating them more to give or to receive =)
