Little but not really

In the ddlg community, it’s always one or the other and by that I mean you’re either a dom or a sub but I’m a switch. Basically depending on my mood I can either be submissive or dominant but everyone else seems to only stick to one extreme D:

Maybe it’s because I haven’t figured it out yet but I do enjoy being independent and doing things on my own but I can’t help feeling that I’m not a little if I do do those things. It really sucks because I want a daddy who cares but sometimes I wanna be the mommy too

Is there anyone out there who can help me sort things out?

There's plenty of switches around. I know I've seen a number of people talking about it in posts. They may just not be the majority, or they may not just post about it as much, but they are out there.  ^^

It sounds like you're a switch, which is someone who identifies as both a little and a caregiver. They can dom and sub or a happy medium, every switch is different just like littles and CGs, how often you go into caregiver or little mode is dependent on the individual and some switches can feel more CG or little depending on their partner.

That's fine! You can be both -a mommy and a littlegirl, a dominant and a submissive.

 

Look myself, when I'm a little I like to call myself Danan (not my legal name), and I like both be a sub and a dom, but I prefer to be a sub most of the time. A brat sub 

 

However, I am usually big, and when I'm an adult I'm a Daddy. I love my partners to call me Daddy, to take care of them, and I'm always dom as a Daddy. But even as a Daddy Dom, I can be both active and pasive in sexual relationships -as far as I'm the dominant part. 

 

I know there are a lot of stereotypes on how you should be if you identify yourself as a little or as a mommy. But the real fact is that everyone of us is special in their own way. So don't worry much about what you should be and think about what do you want to be.

I'm also a switch! And I know how you feel! It's like you need validation or have to do more explanations buuuut!!! It's okay!!!! Not everybody its the same... I feel like a little with some people and i jump into momma mode with others! Or even a big Sis... Sooo don't feel bad about it! just do what feels right to you!

I am a very dominant person, you could even say I wear the pants in the house. My daddy sometimes lays his head on my lap and I pet his hair. I also make food for him and even his shower sometimes, of course he returns the favor.

But in the bedroom I am a submissive and even if I am a dominant person during normal activities, my daddy is still my daddy, 24/7.

 

You do not have to be a submissive during normal activities and you can still be a dom/sub in bed.

Being a switch is totally fine too, don't worry!

I wouldn't say i swirch but i like to play in a dominating demeanor from time to time but i mainstream that sublife role more comforting. I wonder if thats still considered switching? Edited November 8, 2018 by LilMidPrincess
