Guest Lis02
For those who don't have a daddy, how do you soothe yourself?
NaughtyBunBun
blanket and stuffies usually do the trick
LittleCelticLass
I draw on my leg with Sharpies, or curl up with my woobie and a stuffie.
junebug0325
Curling up in my bed with the blankie and stuffie Daddy gives me. If that doesn't work, sucking on my thumb or a paci helps, too. Additionally, if I still can't soothe myself, I try to color or watch shows on netflix to distract myself. Guest
Showers soothe me. Being under my blanket, I'm always under my blanket its my comfort when not in a hot shower. Cuddling my kiddy cat soothes me. Super embarrassing, but I try to remember to treat my self gently, with love and respect because I deserve it. The embarrassing part is that I lightly rub my own arm or leg, hug myself and tell myself positive, encouraging thoughts. It's silly, but works wonders to build self esteem and love for one's self.
Guest Swadloon
Daddy or no Daddy, this is a super important thing to know how to do! When I'm upset or anxious and need to take my mind off it, first I like to cuddle up with one of my lion plushies or my big floofy kitty cat (she lets anyone cuddle with her anytime, bless her and her total lack of personal space), take a bubble bath, or listen to nice music. Then when I've started feeling a bit better and can do something other than sit there and stare, I like to keep my hands busy. I'll pick up my current craft project, play a video game, try a new recipe...
Guest Dreamless
I love to fake bubble tubbies as they are very calming for me. Coloring is also soothing. I can kinda zone. I’m thinking of combining the two by getting those tubbie marker things!! Then I can color in the bubble tubbie!
LyraFaye
Sushi rolling myself, hiding under blankie, sucking on a paci, cuddling stuffies, talking to Squiggy are the things I do most often to soothe myself
purplepenguin
Warm milk! Cuddling up with penguin stuffies and fuzzy blankets. Listening to some soft music. Just making myself feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And then when I'm mellow enough, I can move on to do something slightly more proactive -- colouring or reading or something like that. Guest Babykitkat 23
Warm sippy of hot chocolate, warm blanky, and of course my kitty. She's loves to cuddle so I hug her all's I want. I use my pacy when I can't sleep or I use on of my bottles. Makes me sleepy super fast.

Zeres
What I do to calm myself down is I usually go and lay in a quiet, cold, and dark corner with a stuffed bear and cry until I stop thinking disparaging thoughts. If it gets worse, I hit my head until my breathing calms down and I take a nap in my closet.
